Still working on the seventh. The front took a while to make 😃 I might remove the stars though. But first, on to the back!

Now there’s a name I’ve not heard in a long time… 😃

Welcome back - and cool covers.

Just noticed something. On the Obi Wan leaflet, Chapter 44 should probably have a different title. “Luke and Biggs” fits the scene from the SE, but Biggs is not in that scene in the DE. It’s a scene between Luke and Leia.

But I do think your choices of shots for your cover art are superb!

I knocked up some chapter times for the DeSpecialized Editions a while back…

http://originaltrilogy.com/post/id/906562 (in this thread http://originaltrilogy.com/topic/Inside-Covers-and-Inserts/id/47624 along with titles for ESB and ROTJ)

^ according to that ‘Chapters 24 & 44 were Chapter Titles with names from the Special Editions (‘Jabba The Hutt’ & ‘Luke & Biggs’)’ so may need changing - I just made up two titles to replace them in the link above.

Superb work Tyler0013 😃

Game of Thrones - anyone else feel like this season is the show on fast-forward? They should’ve stuck with two 10-episode seasons to even out the pacing instead of this weird 7- and 6-episode final seasons business.

Unfortunately that wasn’t possible given the technical and proficiency aspects of filming due to the stories told this season (20+ locations in 5 countries with several units) - plus the contractual aspects of the cast and crew (mainly time available)…

They had little option but to reduce the number of episodes - yet lengthen those episode run-times so in essence it is an eight episode season (fewer scenes apparently ended up on the cutting room floor for this season than previous helps).

I’m skeptical of this explanation. In previous seasons that’s kept them to the 10 maximum but there’s nothing new this season about the various locations and scheduling headaches that would require 3 less episodes. Only thing I can think of is their weather excuse (Winter being here and all) but that’s kinda silly because A) we haven’t seen much sign of winter outside of the North, and B) rarely are shows/films shot during the proper season (movie magic and all).

I think the real thing that happened was the show runners only wanted to do seven seasons, which meant that they had to jam pack the final/seventh season with a bunch of wrap up stuff. However two problems arose in that they had a 13 episode final season mapped out, but it was not feasible to shoot a 13 episode single season, and HBO wanted to stretch it out another year. So the season was split in two, and instead of taking the chance to look at how they could further flesh out their planned, rushed final 13 episodes and expand them into 20 (or hell, even 18 or 16), they probably got a bit cocky and thought “nope our plan is perfect, we don’t need anymore than that.”

Speculation but it seems to me to be the case.

A quick look into the ‘Inside the Episode’ videos by HBO may give an insight into the bars raised for this season compared to previous - as well as the time considerations for cast & crew contracts as a result, budgets and the (money-consuming) use of quality CGI. It’s also really 2 less episodes given the average running times…

Just my two-penneth, of course.

Next season will mostly see near feature-length run-times to finalise the story.

Personally, I think this season struggled a little with the pacing in the first 2/3 episodes - but has hit it’s mark since then… (with one episode more to go - unleaked, anyway 😉)

Seems Star India and HBO Sweden & HBO Spain have played a blinder sidelining the hackers since their demands were made public - though HBO really shouldn’t have announced they were going to war on the pirates like that - it was only asking for trouble… (then and since) - which they found as quickly as Euron manages to dart around Westeros 😉

dude98ish,

I’m afraid I don’t want the files shared. I hope the community will cooperate. There are plenty of other covers you can download… or design them yourself! It’s rewarding.

Best,
Ron

😦 I’m crap at designing and especially have no clue where to even start for blu ray or criterion…what do I have to do to prove that I’m not a scamming selling scumbag?

You may find some very similar covers, discart, inserts, boxsets etc to what you are seeking in here mate, or maybe stumble upon others you also like too, or just give you some ideas or inspiration…

Ha! Loved the ‘…filmed in a house in England’ - and also the ‘No wampas were hurt in the making of this movie’ in the end titles 😃

Now that’s enough of all this praise and thanks - when are you starting work on the one true Prequel Trilogy? ‘The Holiday Special : Revisited’, ‘Caravan Of Courage : Revisited’ and ‘The Battle For Endor: Revisited’ mate? 😉

A Star Wars USB Drive - Box, Case, Tape, Tin, Frame, Figure & Cover Thread...
Time

a few USB Box Covers for other series and genres too… (just for ideas and a bit of inspiration etc)

^ all found on google image searches and then resized…

Another ‘poster’ idea for an Ikea Ribba frame (pictured above in the previous post) - but this time for many differing tv/film series and USB drives to boot - am sure everyone has their own favourites…

I’ve still to put the clasps/pins in below each logo to hold the 9 USB flash drives in place…

^ I’ll take a couple of photos of it when it’s all done and in the frame - but am sure you get the idea 😃)

After taking a few weekends off for a 1960s Batman TV show marathon and 1966 film to honor Adam West after his passing, my Summer of Rogue is now back on. As of Sunday, it can now buy alcohol legally. 😉

You’ve been watching Rogue One since 1996?!

That is one great 80’s video cover 😃

I love these type of retro covers…
