Honestly, if we could exclude DV from the candidates (he is a bad guy, after all - we are so messed up, how can we like a baddie? ) then Solo would top my list, too.

Solo was my fave as a kid and into my early teens. But then I started to understand the philosophy of SW and the wisdom of the Force (instead of it merely being a self defense method which was how I viewed it as a child) and, therefore, Obi Wan became my favorite.

Of course, I also have more than just a minor liking for the bounty hunters and I love Biker Scouts.

Cuba did a few good flicks early in his career. Boyz n' the Hood was good and a few others up through and including his star turn in Jerry Maguire. However, once he won that shiny golden Oscar, he did nothing but crap flicks. Nobody takes him seriously anymore because he doesn't take his own career seriously. He needs a few good supporting roles in credible films to reestablish himself.

He needs to find someone in independent film who's willing to touch him with a 10-foot pole. Someone like Lars Von Trier could do wonders for Cuba's credibility.
