In a shocking turn of events, Disney revealed their Star Wars projects up to year 2028 alongside the release of TFA Blu-Ray - three of them being theatrically released remakes of the original trilogy.
“The original three movies were always a black sheep of this franchise. They are filled with plotholes that contradict other Star Wars media.” proclaimed Michael Arndt

Chris Evans - Han Solo
Snoop Lion - Chewbacca
Karen Gillan - Leia Organa
David Hayter - Darth Vader
John Travolta - Lando Carlissian

C3PO and R2D2 will be fully Computer Generated. The lead animator, Jay Kushwara proclaims:
“It will be the most realistic version of C3PO we had yet, with the complexity of the Prequel CGI model, but the realistic look of the original version.”
Unfinished model was shown:
“We heard the complaints from fans of Star Wars franchise about George Lucas not being involved in the production of The Force Awakens. To capture that nostalgic feeling, we invited Mr. Lucas to guide our team during the production of the Remakes.” said Michelle Rejwan, co-producer of the films.

What are your thoughts? I personally think remaking the OT is a good idea, since they are the weakest entries in the franchise, and the casting fits the characters perfectly.
