If so then I smell a rat...
I wonder if 'Death Star' would've posted the same thread below everyone of EndorForest's thread informing us that he has purchased a set off him...
I have to admit that it got me pumped up for the DVD release.
Roll on September
(and roll on those Cinematic Cut dual layer Anamorphic OT DVD's too...)
Originally I was going to go with the TR47 set, though through reading the Bootleg DVDs thread in the General Section I was less than impressed with his actions in there. Obviously most of us will be glad that he has competition from others selling their sets too - otherwise we'd have been paying a substantial amount of more money. I would not have been happy to buy a set from this guy and find out the next day that he'd cut his prices by around a half (perhaps even more) as there is now a bit of competition....
Those people offering DVD sets for free (postage & packing) and other similar amounts of $/£ are to be applauded.
A BIG thanks to all those who've created and or posted DVD covers, disc art and inserts here too - they've come in most handy
How much does each set cost?
How much DID each set cost when it was first available?
I know people like digitalfreaknyc and others are willing to post to anywhere in the world. Is this the case with TR-47?
Will look forward to getting my hands on them - nice one.
Hope it goes easy for you doing up your new house, I remember what a pain in the ass it was to do mine - and the amount of money spent on it too
Will you be placing your 4 new Japanese Styled Special Collection DVD Covers for download in the near future?

I had no idea that Laserdiscs rot - I assumed they'd be similar to DVDs in that you get a few 1000 times play out of them. Best of luck with the archiving.
Just how much better in picture and sound quality will this version be - say compared to DigitalFreakNYC or TR47's versions? Will the average Joe (me) be able to easily tell the difference in quality? (if this version will be 'available' to people here)...
Nice one and thank you
Tho, nicely done.

Try dropping a line to DigitalFreakNYC at DigitalFreakNYC@aol.com to get hold of a copy of the OT on DVD
Some fantastic work and many thanks to DigitalFreakNYC - unlike many others I havn't paid through the nose like on ebay and other similar offers - great stuff that a fellow SW fan has made a concious effort NOT to profit at the expense of other fans.
Well worth getting.
Are both good solid copies, or is there one that is 'better'?
That's a great service you were offering and puts the skanks who make a load of £££'s on ebay for inferior dodgy discs to shame.
They should be the ones threatened with lawsuits and all.
Don't let the bastards get you down, m8.
