What would if a Jedi had commited sexual relations with a male/female.

Anakin did get Padme pregnant but was discovered by Kenobi later in the film.

Should you get expelled for commiting an act of love or get punished for this??



"When Anakin finds out Padme is pregnant". He thinks to himself dam i should have bought a Jedi Condom.

Love is an emotion, thus Jedi are to avoid it at all possible. It creates attachment and can cloud the judgement of a Jedi. Thus, the already dangerous Skywalker would have been expelled because something like this creates more problems.
The Jedi are all but extinct.......

yeah he probably would have been explelled, but then again the jedi might have been understanding about it in some way or another, they could have used it as a chip so everytime anakin didnt get his way they could pull that on him.

anakin: "why cant i be on the jedi council"
Mase: "how can you expect to be on the coucil when you cant even keep your pants up."

It seems that a lot of new EU material in addition to ROTS is... sort of impunining the Jedi Order--making it seem, not corrupt, but dysfunctional. Afterall, they take children from their parents to training long before the child is old enough to understand the comitment... They tend to be rather self-righteous. They lie about the nature of evil, saying that evil is caused by the Dark Side, when it in 'reality' the Dark Side comes from evil.

Stuff like that.

So, Anakin's punishment, I belive, was stated by Padme in the film; he would be banished from the order. I could be wrong though.

Technically speaking, it wouldn't be adultery anyway--adultery is sex with someone who is married to someone else. If Padme and Anakin weren't married, it would be fornication, but since they are, this violates the Jedi Order's rules regarding attachment, so Anakin would be expelled from the Jedi order if the marriage were found out.

In a way, Leia is a Jedi also and she's (In the EU) Marred to Han. so she could be in for the same as Anakin! Sort-of.

I did not know Jedi's were a bit like (Star Treks) "Spock". No Emotions Allowed!
Even if I remember seeing Ob1 and a few others "Smiling" in the films a few times.

That's because the whole idea behind the Jedi's lack of emotions and emotional entanglement in the PT is a steaming load of crap!

The whole premise is shite and sloppily constructed by a man who over the past few years thinks the only things that can send a man to the 'dark side' are love and following anyone's advice but their own.

Exactly. He did some reforms on the Jedi Council, allowing Jedis to marry and have sex. Mostly because he wanted to do those things AND be a Jedi at the same time.

Jedi not being allowed to Marry is bullshit added for the PT in order to create seeds for corny assed teen angst.

When Obi Wan met Anakin during the clone wars, he was already married. Anakin didn't know that his wife had become pregnant by him before he went off and became Darth Vader. When Obi Wan returned to his Mrs. Skywalker to tell her the horrible news, he discovered she'd already had twins. He knew that these would both be a threat to the Emperor, the emperor knew as well and would inevitably seek them out, so he had them hidden on remote planets. Mrs Skywalker and the daughter went to Alderan to be protected by his friend the King of Alderan Bail Organa, while Obi Wan sought out his brother Owen to take care of Luke, while he went into the life of a hermit.

Not allowing marriage...pah....seeds for corny hollywood style teen angst I call it.

The only forbidden emotions are Anger, Fear, Hate, Aggression, the dark side are they.

Happiness, hope, love, passiveness, the light side are they.

and you got this inside info on the 'real' events of the clone wars and the how and when Anakin married 'Mrs Skywalker' and meet Obi-Wan from where? Youve stated in other threads that only the OOT movies/books are canon (ignoring the inherrent contridictions between the two) yet this info was never in either. plus, if what you say is true, then Obi-Wan was still going by the name of Obi-Wan after the twins were born. yet in ANH he says he hadnt gone by that name since before luke was born.
