That model kit is awesome! The detail you put into it is incredible, I wish I had half of that patience.

Maybe Ady can use something like that for ROTJ: Revisited when he gets around to it.
All the Fine Molds SW kits are excellent - much better than the old AMT kits.
I also like the grey you used. Dark enough not to be white but not so dark that you can't see the contrast of the solar panels. Standard TIE should be a little more white. Display stand needs a shot of flat black.
The X-Wing and Y-Wing are a lot more flexible in how you want to finish them. X can be done up as one of four different ships - Luke, Wedge, Biggs and Red Leader - and Y has 3 different schemes - Golds Leader, 2 and 3.
My outlook on life - we’re all on the Hindenburg anyway…no point fighting over the window seat.
Looks pretty nice.

Very nice! If I ever pick up model building again, I'll have to try out one of those Fine Molds kits. They look dope!
Pick one up, sluggo. They're a VERY EASY way to get back into building. You can practically just throw an open tube of glue in the box, shake and out pops a completed kit.

thats about right!
i started with the tie because it looked the easiest kit to find my way with fine molds kits. its a very detailed well thought out kit, the best part being that the black panels are separate parts that can be painted then placed into the frames
heres a couple of pics of the build-

Good to know. I've never felt like photographing my efforts. Of course, when I was a kid, we barely had cameras.
Or shoes.

Man, it is getting nerdy in here. Monty Python and Weird Al? We just need a D&D reference.

Getting?
I include myself in that dig, of course.
The Interceptor was always my favorite of the OT baddy ships REALLY nice work on it there fella!!!
I could never figure out which of the rebel ships i liked as there are so many ones to choose from
For the PT its easy, the N1 Star fighter is a beaut & I love the Padmé's ship at the beginning of AotC (shame it got all blowd up like that!) (least favorite of all the saga is the one that she used throughout the movie)

Oops.
Oh man... the joke wears thin.

Agreed.
Maybe if they release the movies in 3D, you might have more depth.
And hopelessly off topic again.
Almonkey, have you started the regular TIE model?
not yet i'm afraid! i've only got as far as sorting out what colour i'll use, but with some time off at xmas looming i hope to get cracking on it.
Oops again. Sorry.

cock.
Why this word isn't in my french to english dictionnary ?
The EMPIRE STRIKES BACK Score: "All-Sourced" Restoration & Sonic Achievement.
It means a male chicken, also called a rooster.
In America, calling someone a "cock" is quite a compliment. It is like telling them they are the alpha male sort, tough and with lots of chicks always trying to get their attention.
