Would you be for or against it? Discuss…
Obviously against but we would all be old or deceased by the time some shit like that happened.
This thread is confusing because it was started by Alderaan and it has Disney in the title and he hasn’t bitched about Disney…yet.
It would completely undermine the their previous decision to make the ST with the OT cast.
I don’t think that this’ll ever happen.
The Person in Question
I know that this will happen.
“That Darth Vader, man. Sure does love eating Jedi.”
Probably not for a few decades. Remaking a Star Wars movie would be the equivalent of remaking a Bond movie.
The Person in Question
It will happen, because it already has happened.
“That Darth Vader, man. Sure does love eating Jedi.”
I don’t understand why anyone would want to do that.
In my opinion, its the star wars ‘universe’ that is so cool, not really one movies story over another movies story. As long as Disney can come up with good pitches for new stories, there will be no temptation to reuse an existing story. but as soon as new stories dry up, or money dries up, then remakes become tempting.
George Lucas isn’t just anyone.

yeah, and Casino Royale lasted 39 years before being remade.

Hey hey hey…we have a winner!
I’m not talking about TFA.
“That Darth Vader, man. Sure does love eating Jedi.”
Rehash?

Casino Royale was an anti-gambling TV special in the 50s and a comedy spoof in the 60s, and neither were officially produced by the people in charge of making Bond movies. Never Say Never Again was a remake of Thunderball, but that also was made by a different company that had to remake Thunderball because it was the only one that they could get the rights to.

Seeking only the most natural looking colors for Star Wars '77

Give it about 3 seconds.

Give it about 3 seconds.
Or just keep reading.
Edit
Already done: it’s called “Episode VII The Force Awakens” and “Rogue One”.
Very original, just as expected from you.

Here I talk about movies and especially about SW. You and others essentially talk… about me. You’re curious.
I don’t talk about you, I talk to you, informing you that your message was clear the first ten times you complained about TFA and RO. Repeating that same old tune a few dozen times more doesn’t add any value to the discussion.
