Oh my god-green shirt !

I saw Star Wars about 30 times, maybe more. I always thought it was a great movie without errors. Yesterday there was nothing watchable for me on TV, so I decided after a long time watch my Star Wars DVD again. But I was really shocked ! When our heroes are aboard the Millenium Falcon and trying to get to Alderaan, there's a guy in a green shirt behind Harrison Ford, who tries to run away from the frame, but part of his back is visible in the rest of the scene. I coludn't believe my eyes,so I grabbed the remote control and pressed the back button, and he was really there ! I cannot believe it ! I saw the movie so many times and I didn't notice it ! Of course I knew the DVD's are f*cked up (when I saw the green lightsaber for the first time I almost fell of my chair !), I noticed earlier that the stormtrooper hits his head and there are visible "boxes" around some spaceships, but this was really a bad surprise for me. Did you notice this guy before or I'm the only one blid here ?

BTW is there ANY chance that we get an error-less SW version on DVD ?(I know that a non-SE version on DVD is just a dream.) Does George Lucas at least KNOW about these errors ?

I must have seen Star Wars in various forms at least 200 times, and I have to honest and say I never noticed it, but then again i never noticed the head-bonk or Vader gesturing after finishing talking to Tarkin until they were mentioned..

And I don't think they will change the stormtrooper hitting his head, since they intentionally put a reference to it in AOTC when Jango hits his on the Slave I.

Not to mention that they say "See to him" after he does it.

Some of these errors, such as the stormtrooper hitting his head, are what makes Star Wars special and I wouldn't want to see that edited out, even if it is a mistake.

In a way, I believe Lucas has already made it not a mistake by having Jango do the same thing. Now, I suppose you could consider it a genetic trait.

if you watch the official ESB DVD, (widescreen only) when the Wampa's arm hits the Tauntaun, watch to the very left. You can see the "stick" arm. I have a screen cap, but don't know how to upload pics.

Post them at photobucket.com, and put a link to them in posts here.

It is interesting and cool to see D.Es edit of Star Wars(ANH) with the head-bonking, the Vader gesture and the other mistakes edited out, once you know they are there, it is intresting to see what the film is like with them cut out.......

OK, tonight I'll try to do some nice screencaps of all the errors I've noticed and tomorrow I can upload it somewhere .
BTW I never noticed the wampa-hand, it's funny that these things made it to the final cut

Don'tcha just love how Lucas changed stupid crap that didn't need to be changed for the OT, yet he didn't bother with the stuff that actually needed to be fixed, i.e. the Wampa arm?

Its all part of his "vision" to have all that stuff kept in

So here it is as promissed. Sorry I couldn't make better pics, I had problems to pause my player at the correct time, so what you see are pics from the END of this scene, but that guy is still slightly visible, just look behind Han's back.

Dammit. I always hate when I'm introduced to errors I didn't notice before. It's like in deleted magic, when it points out in the Docking Bay 94 scene that R2 can't make it down the steps. So when you look at R2, you can see he is about to fall down the steps before it cuts to another shot.
