Info Wanted: Which is the best OT preservation project?

I’m sorta new to SW LD-rips and fan-edits. I very much enjoy the work being done with them. I have one of the LD rips of the OT, I dunno which one though. I’m wondering which are/is the best of the LD-rips to get that’s still aviliable via torrents, only since I can never get newsgroups to work right.

I’m also wondering which is the best of the prequel trilogy edits to get. Thanks for your time.

Still not sure which would be the best to get, outside of tracking down the famed Gonzo set.

Not many of them answered my question as to which would be the best to get, though am still trying to find the Gonzo set, and having no luck at all using newsgroups. I am leaning toward that or the new GOUT set though and having no luck finding either on bt or newsgroups.

So you're looking to get an official release -- GOUT -- via illegal download? Not a smart course of action, nor the type of activity that should be discussed here. This thread should be locked.

Well, since the GOUT isn't a preservation edit, you shouldn't be talking about trying to get it by illegal means.
