Info, & Help: looking for... 'Dressing a Galaxy' DVD...

Hi Guyz,

I don’t know if this belongs here, but I’ve searched and searched the internet to find out more about this DVD to no avail.

I know of the special edition for Dressing a Galaxy but always found it to steep for my taste, but I have since wondered what is presented on the DVD as a whole.

Is there some special program/documentary on it? Are there more docs (looks like it on the menu) on the DVD or images and is there any rare foortage to be found. If anyone has this and could get me some more insight into the DVD itself that would be great. I’m gratefull for any info at all

if i remember right the dvd only has web docs in it with a menu. i do have the limited edition and have watched it once. i have to watch it again and "report" back to you guys. and i do consider it to be official release so please dont ask copies

btw: They also have: Sculpting a Galaxy: Inside the Star Wars Model Shop and it has a dvd featuring model shop documentaries the same way Dressing does. i can review that too.

I have book #1,034 of 2,500

The DVD is termed (as a package Highlight) in the pamphlet (that I picked up at C2) as a Special Edition DVD with backstage actor commentaries

The DVD contains 1 program (the fifth of 5) that isn't found (in whole) on an Officially released PT DVD - but is made up of bits & pieces (both) of footage/Interviews Etc. found in those DVD's and bits filmed for the article

There are NO extra Images or rare footage Etc. outside of the other 4 orig. PT DVD web docs/featurettes which do feature small edits of BTS footage from 'ANH'

As wertyqa states, Yes it is an Official release (w/ the Numbered Limited Edition)

In the pamphlet artwork, the image of the Sidious is on the front of the DVD (not Obi-Wan) though the books final art was probably not settled on, at that point

1. Costume Drama - Web Doc # 10 (without the Date-Mark's found on) Disc 2 of 'TPM' DVD version - Of NOTE: An Run-Way(esque) appearance by a very young Keira Knightley
2. Timeless Designs (costumes EPK) - Featurette # 2 (of 5) from Disc 2 of the 'TPM' DVD

3. P-19 - Web Doc # 11, Disc 2 'AOTC' DVD

4. Epic Designs for an Expanding Universe - Web Doc # 7, Disc 2 'ROTJ' DVD


5. In-Character Costumes (costumes EPK) - This is not found on the 'ROTS' DVD, Unknown voice-over - quite sure it originated on TV during pre-release of 'ROTS'
I'm sure I have this file also on a CD (w/ it's TV origin) Looking for it - maybe wertyqa has it?


p.s - My Wookie replica buckle has no green paint on it & the cover of Vader's cape package doesn't have any image on it

There's a VHS copy of this on Ebay. Other than that, I haven't seen it anywhere else.

'scuse the typos within my above post

- Sidious shouldn't be referred to as ... the Sidious
- Keira has ... A runway(esque) appearance, not ... An runway(esque)
- and lastly (but not leastly) Ep.3's acronym should be (I do believe) 'ROTS', not 'ROTJ' ... LOL!
