"In the Star Tours queue, you walk through the flight terminal for the fictional “Star Tours” travel agency. On the wall is a jumbo-tron playing a loop of travel videos, showing the various destinations you can fly to if you book a vacation with them.

The music here is what accompanies those videos."

What's the source for this recording?

And why does the percussion section throughout make me think of 1960s movies/TV?

EDIT: This might remind me more of the music for games like Wii Sports or its sequel on that island.

This. A thousand times this. I kept thinking edutainment video game, actually, but I might be jaded because I had a ton of those - even a few Star Wars ones.

This is a fun and whimsical medley that I enjoy the hell out of, even if it feels a little cheap sometimes.

Thanks for the video! The music is great!

It'd be cool if someone put together an album of the cleanest music tracks for both the original and new Star Tours - ride music, queue and exit music and travelogue music.

Apologies for bumping this thread, but the YouTube video was removed long ago and the Star Tours II music Giacchino scored doesn't seemed to have surfaced elsewhere. I've hunted around but fishmanlee seems to be the only source on this one that I can find.

Anyone know where this music might be found for those of us who'd like another listen?
