Hello there!

Welcome to my extended cut of “Star Wars” (1977) with all the Luke and Biggs stuff as well as whatever I deemed useable in the sense that it wouldn’t appear super out of place. Garrett Gilchrist’s restoration of the '77 Jabba scene with Declan Mulholland would be awesome to fit in there but as good a reconstruction as it is, it is still noticeable that is in fact a reconstruction.

I will be releasing a longer alternative version of this edit with as many deleted scenes and alternate takes as I can cram in. It will be in black and white and will resemble what many refer to as “The Lost Cut”.

This version is meant to look as if it really did come out in 1977 in place of the theatrical cut with wipes, musical cues, sound effects, James Earl Jones, film grain, etc.

Deleted Scenes Reinstated:

  • Luke moisture farming
  • Luke and Biggs at Tosche Station
  • Luke and Biggs have a heart to heart
  • Wacky hijinks in Mos Eisley
  • Vader widens the search
  • Luke and Biggs reunite

I would love to see a version with Biggs and the Gang edited in and even his first Binoc scene even if scratchy
I a fan of getting the LONGEST versions of films and I always missed these bits never mind any pacing or intro of Luke timing.

IF you have seen the film before its fine to have these in I think and Biggs greeting and death and the end gives some storyline of course.

I was given the paperback (still have it ) by my drama teacher in school before the film came out in the UK.
so I only had the pictures and the events to read and visulise befoe the film even came out here.

Its strange to read with the actiors sounds and the music missing but the missing film scences not in the book then have always been missing.the
After seeing them on a cd set I wished they were in place just as a full version.

Im not a fan off all the odd little cgi bits added - I feel they didnt need them when it came out and serves little purpose - its like add a red nose to Groucho in Marx bros films.

I would vey much like to see this version if it is availible in any way - and any other improved exstended versions of the films

My next task is watching the entire universe in timline order which I made in playlist creator 3.6.2
All films, tv, animation even game shows and the holiday special - plays in order - I have projects for ALL franchises that might benefit fron easier watching and continuity made and being added to as new items come up

If you really are into watching the “longest” versions of films, stay tuned 'cuz my black and white “extended, extended” cut is almost done. Pretty much this but with almost everything like Han and Jenny in the rough cut of the cantina.

I had a dream of recreating The Lost Cut in the same way you describe, but never completed it. I hope you are able to do it and do an amazing job! Interested in both versions!

I’ve done this too. My version goes 2:18 hours.
It Insert all and many more scenes…
And is colour with the b&w scenes…
It have different quality because varios released scenes.
And behind the scenes too…
