Project Ewok | Caravan of Courage & The Battle for Endor - 4K Upscales (Released)

I’ve had these projects available on TSWT for a couple months now, but figured I could share them here as well for anyone interested. Essentially I used the original DVD source to upscale the films (to 8K), apply some light DNR to remove artifacting, and added some light custom grain. The result is, surprisingly, not too bad. Both 4K and 1080p versions are available.

MEGA links are also available thanks to SnooPac! PM either of us if you’re interested.

Always good to see the two theatrical Ewok films get some love and attention - nice one Rancor022 😃

And that there are 1080p and 4K versions available too.

Fellow top man Rikter has knocked up some quality covers and disc art for these too:-

Why don’t you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don’t you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don’t you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Love to check these out, any way to get an invite or external link? They’re cheesy nonsense but I love taking the DVD out every now and again, especially Battle for Endor.

Nice work, Rancor022!
Now this can become a reality…

That is both hilarious and perfectly edited!

It was the 2016 election…I regret this name choice

The technicallites with registration for thestarwarstrilogy.com are somewhat confusing… Do you need to be a member to obtain these projects?

It would seem so… thus, these projects are out of reach for some of us. Ah well.

I would love to get my hands on these, would anyone be willing to send me an invite or upload them somewhere more available? Thanks much!

As many others have mentioned, I would love access to these. I’m always worried about scratching the double-sided DVD… a paranoia from childhood that never went away, and the unavailability of the discs now makes me extra cautious.

If it makes you feel any better, the side with Battle for Endor on mine never worked. I had to track down a VHS copy. Then about a year later Caravan of Courage quit working without a single scratch.

Double sided DVDs are great.

Love those movies. Have the DVDs myself. Well my son has them, because I bought them for him 😜 when they come on DVD. He also has Droids and Ewoks on DVD.

Just watched them! Very, very well done Rancor022! I definitely recommend to anyone interested in viewing or simply owning these films in a significantly better format than the DVD release! 👍

Just watched these back to back. Wow, just wow. I’m usually blown away by the work some people do on here, but this was one of those moments like watching Despecialized for the first time. I never thought this level of quality for these two films would be possible. I used to love these as a kid despite the cheese, and as much as the double feature DVD has given me a reliable way to revisit them in more recent years, this will be my preferred way of viewing them from now on. Thank you.

P.S. Would you mind if I used these as the base for an edit?
