Great job on compiling, preserving and making these titles available oojason. You are a credit to the community and I thank you. I have just started delving into the ‘babyhum’ collection and there is some great stuff in there.

📍 A few accessible Original Trilogy preservation projects - ‘a journey from there to here’… 📍 : 5️⃣3️⃣6️⃣ OT•com endeavours.
---
If anyone would like links to any of the available Original Trilogy preservations listed in here… send me a PM - thank you. 👍
---
Below are just a few of the many legacy Original Trilogy preservation projects undertaken by the amazing community here over the years - an overview for ‘the journey of getting from there to here’… from theatrical bootlegs, home video tapings, official home video release & laserdisc-sourced conservations, 8mm & 16mm film transfers, 2006 GOUT DVD improvements, 720p & 1080p HD endeavours, Despecializings… through to 35mm film preservations & 4K/UHD reconstructions. Plus a little something from across the ‘four corners of the globe’ - featuring a number of both English and non-English language projects and releases.
Some of these heritage and ‘labour of love’ preservations may have become overlooked, forgotten, lost, difficult to acquire over time… or have even succumbed to the dreaded ‘disc failure’… and this is merely my own attempt to try and remedy that. Also featured are some other endeavours from across the GFFA which may be of interest - plus a few more recent OT projects…
📍 Links for the projects listed below are via GoFile / Mega / GoogleDrive - mainly via GoFile (some files under 4gb are via Mega). No additional software, installations, peers & seeding, nor torrents are required. Once you are given the link… simply click on ‘Download’ and wait for it to complete - no adverts, no daily quotas, or access limits - and no throttling. As simple as it gets. ✔️
Note: You must be an active/participating member of the site; someone with 30+ posts - with no ‘shitposts’ or ‘link request’ posts.
---
Please do NOT ask me for links to any other projects - I only have links for the projects listed below (though suggestions are welcome).
For traffic issues: please do NOT share any links I give you - though feel free to re-upload any project below and then share those links.
If anybody would like to share any legacy projects they have for other OT preservations on the OT•com not listed below - PM me. 😃
The ❕ An Index Of Projects & Help Thread for Star Wars Preservations… ❕ may also be of use in searching for projects & info.
⛔ Do NOT send me a PM asking for project links - if you have NOT made the required number of posts on here. Thank you. ⛔
As per the OT•com Site Rules: ‘Before obtaining any fan projects, you must be in ownership of the official retail release.’ ✔️
---
The Key…
☑️ = link is currently available.
🔔 = a temporary link will be set up and provided upon a PM request (likely due to a lack of available online storage space).
⛔ = link is not currently available (likely due to ‘technical issues’ / ‘coming soon’ / projects are being re-uploaded or updated etc).

Hopefully, this ‘repository’ endeavour may encourage other members of the OT community to come together to make available their own fan projects - and also helping keep others’ legacy fan ventures of note accessible - in similar threads as this one. Or even simply sharing the annual costs of hosting fan projects online on premium storage platforms such as GoFile, Mega, or GoogleDrive etc.

simps’ Info: Preservation of Localized Texts in the Star Wars (1-6) Saga may also be of use.
none’s International Audio (including Voice-Over Translations) also contains useful information.
The Dubbing Database - aka DUBDB, and the International Dubbing Wiki - aka IDBWiki Fandom, are also helpful resources.
I’d love to offer more OT projects for the above ‘non-English language’ section; especially Norwegian, Swedish, Polish, Dutch, Czech, Italian, Arabic, Hindi, Bengali, Chinese or Hong Kong home video releases - please send me a PM if you can help. 👍
The following is a small number of ‘Star Wars fan edits’, ‘non Star Wars preservations’, and ‘non Star Wars fan edit’ projects…

④ • I’d also love to be able to include the following ‘wish list’ of elusive projects in the above list of legacy preservations…
---
1️⃣ The ITV UK Premiere broadcast of Return Of The Jedi: on 26th December, 1989. | (VHS/Beta) | OT.com Info Thread.
2️⃣ a UK 1989 Original Trilogy box set VHS preservation - the 1st ever official VHS ‘box set’ release for the Original Trilogy.
3️⃣ a preservation for the German 1992 Sat1 Original Trilogy VHS White Boxset release…
4️⃣ any VHD preservation project of the Original Trilogy (aka ‘Video High Density’). VHD Wikipedia page
5️⃣ any V2000 preservation project of the Original Trilogy (aka ‘Video2000’ or ‘VCC’). V2000 Wikipedia page
6️⃣ any Video8 preservation project of the Original Trilogy. Video8 Wikipedia page
Including more SW fan-made projects by the likes of Molly, dark_jedi, MeBeJedi, spoRv, Jetrell Fo, Rikter, fishmanlee, and ABC.
Or any Original Trilogy projects for the ‘non-English language’ section; especially Norwegian, Swedish, Polish, Dutch, Czech, Italian, Arabic, Hindi or Bengali, and Chinese or Hong Kong home video releases.
^ as well as any suggestions for other preservation projects of the Original Trilogy. If you can help, please send me a PM. 👍
---
After viewing projects on OriginalTrilogy•com: Please leave some feedback for the fan projects on here - or even a review…
---
The above 500+ projects are just a few of the countless Original Trilogy legacy preservation and reconstruction endeavours undertaken by the amazing community here over the years - an overview for ‘the long journey of getting from there to here’…
Whether projects are long-forgotten smaller niche curios - all the way through to popular 35mm 4K preservations of the OOT.
If anyone has any other projects of OT preservations not listed above to share (or even has any suggestions) - please PM me. 👍
Note: Whilst superb projects like adywan’s Original Trilogy Revisited, Hal 9000’s SW Saga, and NeverarGreat’s Sequel Trilogy, certainly are all legacy projects on the OT•com - they are still easily & readily available from the creators themselves - so are not included here.
Much kudos and credit to althor1138, benduwan, Jaded Skywalker, Jay, none, puzosep, Rikter, Schorman13, spoRv, SnooPac, Stretch009, Williarob, Zion, ArdaYlcn, mikehbkwm, & Phase3 - for either the inspiration or the content featured in this ‘legacy list’ of projects. A massive thank you to everyone involved in creating and supporting the countless fan projects on here over the years; including the PIF heroes, seeders & uploaders, tech gurus, archivists & collectors, and also those no longer with us.
An extra shout-out for puzosep; who kindly and tirelessly provided many of the ‘earlier’ & ‘non-English language’ projects listed here.
Extra appreciation and gratitude also to SnooPac - the dogged and determined ‘Sherlock Holmes’ in locating and acquiring long-lost projects from the GFFA; and the latest in a long line of Reds going out of their way in helping others on here over the years. YNWA.
Massive thanks and credit also go to Atom-88 - who has very kindly allotted me significant online storage space to host many of the projects accessible here - at no charge (approximately half of the ~6TB total project size… is available only due to his generosity). 🙌
George Lucas once proclaimed in 1997: “Even the 35 million tapes of ‘Star Wars’ out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD [Special Edition] version.”
^ We hope you enjoy the legacy preservation projects featured on here… undertaken by fans who merely wanted others to have a choice in viewing whichever previously released version of ‘Star Wars’ they wish to see… for many, many years to come.
After all, in 1988 a visionary passionately espoused: “In the future it will become even easier for old negatives to become lost and be ‘replaced’ by new altered negatives. This would be a great loss to our society. Our cultural history must not be allowed to be rewritten.”
MTFBWY all …always.
