RETURN OF THE JEDI story LP (Released)

27th Nov 2011 - ( I am resting from completing this project until xmas )

( only because i have not much time on my hands at the minute )
 

I am in the process of creating the video to the Return of the Jedi Story LP.

I have now recieved the audio.

An update of my ‘title crawl’, The crawl that i have created is kinda looking more like the film crawl, so guess i will keep at that as i am not having any help with this.

If someone could create a DVD cover or if someone could send me scans of the LP & booklett pages would be really helpfull.

(could you please post if you are in the process of creating a DVD cover for me.)

(I would also be greatfull if someone could send me scans of the:> ‘story of - readalong’ picture book images, as my book was destroyed years ago.)

Any scans of the lp cover? No guaranties but i'll certainly have a go at making  a cover, but it'd be nice to have some decent scans to work with ;)

I have contacted MoveAlong to supply me with a High Quality Audio for the project.

Which version of the movie video are you using the 2004, or the non anamorphic 2006 bonus disc?

well i did complete the project !!without image pans & zooms!! using the 2008 - 4:3 Bonus Disc original version, then decided to start editing again due to quality using the SE 2008 anamorphic DVD Slimcase box release.

Whatever happened to MoveAlong? He said here he was planning on doing Jedi eventually - I guess real life took over.

It's nice that someone else has stepped in to do this, and the clips you've put up so far have been very good.

I guess he felt that it wasn't up to scratch like the previous two albums that he has give it a miss from completing.

I'm a professional designer (who also frequently creates 'bootleg' art) and I'd be very tempted to stay as close to the original artwork, as movealong did with his efforts. I feel these projects should be about preserving the the original release as much as possible.

 

 

OK, i guess maybe the cover should be as close to the original.

If you think you are up to the challenge in creating a DVD cover for me then please do so.

Can't wait to see the finished product and sit down and watch it.

When i was a kid this was my only way of revisiting the movie, as there was no vhs of the movie then, and anyway we did not have a vhs only a hifi stereo with subwoofers and i would sit down in a worn out old chair and imagine the movie as i listened to it.

One thing that always annoyed me though was the alternate yub-nub song on the LP, its not the film version it is the alternate take as found on the anthology set and original album, where the real film version was on the fourth cd in the anthology set.

Nothing much happening at the min with the help & audio.

I also have the anthology 4CD box set with booklet.

Enjoyed listening to all the extra unreleased music, time after time after time :)

Sorry im not posting any more info at the min as im still waiting on receiving audio.

As i have started work i will finish the LP video, then in my spare time that i have will complete the DVD, may take some time to complete.

I will upload the finished video to you-tube when completed, untill i can finish the DVD.
