Indiana Jones Trilogy - Korean LaserDiscs Preservation Project - Released

Hi everyone!

I’m excited to share that a preservation of the Indiana Jones Trilogy Korean LaserDiscs is now complete and available. Special thanks for the invaluable assistance to ooJason!

Technical Details:

Title: droid1138 Indiana Jones Trilogy - Korean Laserdiscs Preservation Project
Source: Korean Indiana Jones LaserDisc Trilogy
LD Player: Pioneer CLD-D503
Capture: S-Video → Samsung DVD/VCR recorder (DVD-VR357)
Audio: Stereo RCA into the DVD/VCR recorder
Format: Pan & Scan
File Size: 12.4gb Total
File Types: MKV

As with the Korean Star Wars Trilogy Preservation, the Samsung recorder’s digital output let me bridge the analog LD signal to modern equipment while capturing clean video and audio. It also helped as a means to connect the LD Player to the TV, as this DVD/VCR model has an HDMI port and Optical Out. Enjoy!

Well in, enater. 👍

I was surprised that Raiders was the cleanest looking transfer of the lot having been the first of the movies.

Love that Struzan cover art for Temple of Doom.

Thank you enater for being so generous with this project, and thanks to Jason for his kind assistance.
