Project Ewok | Caravan of Courage & The Battle for Endor - 4K Upscales (Released)

I’ve had these projects available on TSWT for a couple months now, but figured I could share them here as well for anyone interested. Essentially I used the original DVD source to upscale the films (to 8K), apply some light DNR to remove artifacting, and added some light custom grain. The result is, surprisingly, not too bad. Both 4K and 1080p versions are available.

As many others have mentioned, I would love access to these. I’m always worried about scratching the double-sided DVD… a paranoia from childhood that never went away, and the unavailability of the discs now makes me extra cautious.

These look fantastic… could be film scans.

Love those movies. Have the DVDs myself. Well my son has them, because I bought them for him 😜 when they come on DVD. He also has Droids and Ewoks on DVD.

Just watched these back to back. Wow, just wow. I’m usually blown away by the work some people do on here, but this was one of those moments like watching Despecialized for the first time. I never thought this level of quality for these two films would be possible. I used to love these as a kid despite the cheese, and as much as the double feature DVD has given me a reliable way to revisit them in more recent years, this will be my preferred way of viewing them from now on. I know this is off topic, I am posting this here because it does not deserve its own thread. Does the laserdisc have the following scenes?

1. When being chased by Terak’s men, Wicket races for Noa’s house but Noa tells him the only chance they’ve got is the star cruiser.

2. the men go inside and burn down Noa’s house.

3. Cindel’s lines: “Do something, Wicket! Use your sling! You hit the ring!”

I can’t seem to figure out how to PM on here, (sorry), I’m a member of Original trilogy but can’t seem to get registered for StarWarsTrillogy Forums to gain access to the 4K upscaled Ewok movies, I have the DVDs which are not too bad but I tried to watch them on my 4K projector with my daughter and they didn’t hold up too well on that.
I hope one day we get official 4K releases but I’m not sure if that will ever happen.

Anyway any help would be much appreciated.
