I thought that Ep1 was going to be a lot more political - I seem to remember Terence Stamp, the actor who played Challecor Vallorum in Ep 1, sometime after the cinematic release stating that the many of the scenes he filmed with others didn't make it to the film...

Maybe 20 years from now people will be talking about a 'Lost Cut' of Episode 1 - but I doubt it somehow... a shame, it could have given the many talented Fan Editors something more to work with...

There are a LOT of differing versions on here - but don't let that deter you from doing your own set.

A wealth of information on all aspects of creating a dvd set from the laserdiscs is floating around here and the lads who do them are more than happy to take questions and give tips.

It may be an idea to get hold of a couple of the sets that take your interest to see the quality and give you ideas on what has been done.

If you're a Brit then I'd recommend getting a PAL set (ie Moth3r's OT set), although all the others play fine too.

I don't ever recall seeing a Prequel Trilogy only cover here at all.

AbsoluteDestiny has been kind enough send me his file on his OT cover - posted a page or 2 back - and from that I'm hoping to come with something for the Prequel Trilogy.

Be warned though, my skills are extremely limited, and it will be a basic looking inksaver (predominantly white) cover.

Hopefully one of the very skilled lads and laddesses on here will also knock something up too...
