This is Dave Dorman’s 1995 Luke with his poncho. I removed everything but the artist name.

Spent a few hours putting this together.

Here’s some box art I threw together from one of your suggestions, williarob. Had to scour the internet for a higher res version though.

Here’s a WIP cover. Any suggestions for what to change/add?

I’m going to take a stab at creating a UHD BD Cover, disc label, and menu. Obviously there aren’t really any consumer friendly options for UHD Blu-ray authoring (probably will be years before anything open source will do menus). But I can basically get it prepped.

I haven’t really been able to be active in this community with my job this year but I’m dead set on helping get 4K77 on to UHD BD. I have constantly been playing around with jdobb’s UHD TS Muxing tool and trying to figure out what will get 4k onto a properly structured disc.

Obviously this would be easier with Scenarist (would have to win the lottery 4 times to get that one). There is also DVD Logic’s KITe UHD Authoring suite ($11,000 for HDMV UHD Authoring, $14,500 for Java based UHD Authoring). I am familiar with BluDisc Studio (from DVD Logic) so KITe shouldn’t be much different, so if people feel I’m competitent enough to do it and if people ask for it, well let me get some stuff done and added here, and then we’ll talk. I wish Adobe had kept up with Encore lol 😦

Ever since I bought the soundtrack, (on used vinyl for $5 on Star Wars Day!) I’ve always been fond of the poster that came with it. I’m surprised there aren’t more fanboxes that use this art.

I’m in the mood to design a 4k/Blu-ray cover for this project, and I thought I would start with a logo. So these are the ideas I had, let me know what you think!
