I'm sorry but it appears you posted in the wrong index FlatCap.
Nobody sang The Bunny Song in years…
This redditor claims that they have a 35mm print in good enough condition for regular viewing.

So I guess the top post never gets updated anymore, huh?

Patience. It's only been five years.
With apologies to Puggo, the first post is really more of a project mausoleum than a project index. If any thread needs unstickying, it’s this one.

I respectfully disagree Catbus - it seems more of a timeline or a reminder of many of the early struggles of the various laserdisc/VHS to dvd projects - part of the history of not only those early releases some 10+ years ago - but also an index of the history of this site itself, and the various aspects of work involved in making them all happen.
It could definitely do with an update to include the more modern releases though 😉

‘How do I do this?’ on the OriginalTrilogy.com - includes info on how to ask for a fan project and how to search for projects and threads on OT•com.
A Project Index for Star Wars Preservations (Harmy’s Despecialized & 4K77/80/83 etc) : A Project Index for Star Wars Fan Edits (adywan & Hal 9000 etc)
Take your time to look around this site before posting… Do NOT just lazily make yet another ‘link request’ post - or a new thread asking for projects.
I guess this is the most appropriate place to post this. Is it okay to discuss the different preservations or try to explain the differences and goals of each elsewhere? I wanted to write a companion article to my blog entry simply explaining the theatrical Ot runs and the major video releases. I meet atleast a handful of people eahc week who are out to see the OT and who ask me tons of questions. And it seems virtually everyone has either heard of or has the despecialized in some shape of form either by stumbling across it or getting word form a friend of a friend. I’d like to set the record straight somewhere so people could finally be properly informed but worry about saying too much etc.
Since TN1 started posting on the SW BD thread over on the shtv forums I wondered if I could finally write something to try and get rid of all this confusion.

…just a heads up
Man, this thread spans the entire history of this site. Lots of old posters you never see these days. Very strange to see threads from back in the day, it’s almost a completely different community.
Yeah, it makes me feel a little sad.
The atmosphere here is certainly not the same as it used to be. I think once the GOUT hit DVD is when the tangent emerged.
There are a few new contributors that have elevated the site.
You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.
Episode 9 Rewrite, The Starlight Project (Released!) and ANH Technicolor Project (Released!)
This is a really weird conversation. We’re replying to months old posts as if they were written yesterday, the site has changed significantly since my last post over half a year ago.
This is a pretty extensive list. All I want is the first 2 films 35mm scans in 5.1 like Jedi lol
I’ve had a bash at updating The Project Index below to include some of the more modern releases from the ‘Star Wars Preservation and Other Projects’ & ‘Star Wars Fan Edits’ sections of the ot.com…
(and also using the content from ^…^ (spoRv) previously updated links on page 2, and Moth3r’s original links on page 1)
I hope it is of some use…

Wow thanks for that, this is a really helpful list. Does anyone know if there is a droids cartoon project similar to the ewoks 5 disc set?
Asking for my kid I swear…
Edit - disregard this, I found the thread on page 2 of the star wars preservations topic
There’s been a few new projects since the Project Index list above was last edited (February 2017) - so the list has now been updated - as of 23rd October, 2017.
If anyone has any suggestions for additions to the list please post them in this thread - thank you.
Edit: a new Project Index for Star Wars Preservations has been created, here…

2024 Edit: If anyone would like some links to any of the Original Trilogy preservation projects below… send me a PM. 👍
Below are just a few of the many legacy Original Trilogy preservation projects undertaken by the amazing community here over the years - an overview of sorts for ‘the journey of getting from there to here’. The aim is to also include a little something from across all ‘four corners of the globe’ - featuring a number of both English and non-English language releases and projects.
Some of these heritage and ‘labour of love’ preservations may have become overlooked, forgotten, lost, difficult to acquire over time… or may have succumbed to the dreaded ‘disc failure’… and this is merely my own attempt to try and remedy that. Also featured are some other endeavours across the GFFA which may be of interest - as well as some more recent OT projects…
Note: You must be an active/contributing member of the site; someone with 50+ posts - without including any ‘link request’ posts. Please do NOT ask me for links to any other projects - I only have links for the projects listed below (via GoFile / Mega / GoogleDrive).
For traffic issues: please do NOT share any links I give you - though feel free to re-upload any project below and then share those links.
If anybody would like to share any legacy projects they have for other OT preservations on the OT•com not listed below - PM me. 👍
The ❕ An Index Of Projects & Help Thread for Star Wars Preservations… ❕ may also be of interest in searching for projects.
The Key…
☑️ = link is currently available.
⛔ = link is not currently available.
^ (⛔ - currently unavailable probably due to a shortage of ‘storage space’ - or links for the project are ‘coming soon’)…
This project can now be found in this thread:-

Here’s a spreadsheet I made for people who want to know what versions of ANH are available to watch:
It’s incomplete and probably has errors, but hopefully it gives some indication of all the versions and a good sample of the completed projects.
You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.
Episode 9 Rewrite, The Starlight Project (Released!) and ANH Technicolor Project (Released!)
Nice
Here’s a spreadsheet I made for people who want to know what versions of ANH are available to watch:
Very handy - a super idea! If there’s room, it could be useful to squeeze in the word “GOUT” in the description for the Limited Edition 2006 DVD, since that is what it is commonly referred to.
With the resolution details at the bottom, I believe the DVD should be 480-576 horizontal lines (480 for NTSC, 576 for PAL, assuming it is anamorphic), and the laserdisc 425-440.
