Your choice of course. I find suspicious that people get put off by the name of the channel, honestly its clear to me that any review pointing put flaws and problems on the sequel trilogy wpuld get dismissed by random reasons.

No, not the name of the channel - the title of the video and two of it’s descriptions therein. As I said before, I’ve seen enough of those similar type of ‘monetised hate’ videos - after a while they seem pretty much the same - and also other reasons given previously too.

I’m not much of a fan of ScreenRant either - but not because it has rant in it’s title though.

Its a very fair, balanced review though. That said, i understand how people who loved the movie cant take well constructed criticism, as seen with TLJ.

Fyi, its not a rant or enraged review despite the name of the channel.

Seems many people who didn’t like TLJ or TROS or X, Y & Z also don’t like those type of videos - it is not a mutual thing.
 

The title of the video is ‘TROS: An Unbridled Rage’.

‘video ranting about a crappy movie’ is taken from from the video’s own description. As is ‘Disney’s failure is now complete’ from another part of the description.

Why? This site is called originaltrilogy.com, not prequelhaters.com, or sequelhaters.com. As for any forum, there will be those, that like the PT, and/or ST, and those that don’t, but let’s not even begin to push the idea, that some opinions on the films are more valid than others, or that we should censor ourselves to pacify some vocal hard line segment of the membership on this forum.

I read it as more a joke / humour - and was awaiting a follow up post ‘He IS the Senate’ etc

A good number of fans agree with you, mate. The execution and quality of the change itself… is as poor as the nonsensical decision to replace Sebastian Shaw and insert Hayden Christensen as Anakin’s force ghost in the 2004 Special Editions of ROTJ.
 

Though for a fair few of us on here… Sebastian Shaw will always be Anakin Skywalker in Return Of The Jedi.

‘We ❤️ Star Wars and give it all the moneys. Please don’t sue us.’ - this applies for every Fan Edit on here (not just for Star Wars releases) - we pay for the official film/tv/media release beforehand; via purchasing the blu ray or digital download etc.
