The blurb: 'I just learned that this American documentary film, directed by Academy Award-winning sound designer Ben Burtt and released to IMAX theaters, does not exist on YouTube (nor in video format). So I put online this recording that I did (at 17) at Futuroscope (France), in September 1997.

Because it was a very good documentary on special effects and stop-motion! Some original models had been restored to recreate the opening scene of Star Wars (1977) in IMAX format for this documentary film.

It was narrated by John Lithgow, but unfortunately I only have the French dub. I will add subtitles in 2023.

'Richard Chamberlain, the actor best known for his role in the 1960s medical drama Dr Kildare and leading role in Shogun, has died aged 90, his publicist has confirmed to the BBC.

Chamberlain earned the title “king of the mini-series” for his leading roles in Shogun and The Thorn Birds.

He died late on Saturday night local time (10:15 GMT Sunday) in Waimanalo, Hawaii, after suffering complications from a stroke, his publicist Harlan Boll confirmed - just hours before he would have turned 91.’
