Worked more on my cover concept. What would be the features on this disc?
https://imgur.com/VW8lYFG

Also. How do I make the images appear on this page instead of just a link?

This may of help mate (from the About, Help, General Assistance sections of this site, and the various Index threads too:-

How do I do this?’ on the OriginalTrilogy.com - some info & answers to members’ queries

and scroll down to ‘How to post an image on the OriginalTrilogy•com…’ part.

To post an image from imgur.com… look for the ‘Direct Link’ code from the right side of the imgur screen, and copy and paste it onto here.

For your image it should be https://imgur.com/VW8lYFG.png

When you add the !{}(https://imgur.com/VW8lYFG.png) code… and then replace the {} with the [ and a ] - then the image will appear 😃

Quality cover by the way, Oswarez 👍

‘We had a lot of fun talking about the rotating dish atop the Tantive IV. Look carefully at it in the original Star Wars (1977)–in shot 1, it’s not visible. In shot 2, it’s rotating counter clockwise. In shot 3, it’s rotating clockwise! For Rogue One, we animated the dish counterclockwise.’

I imagine we’ll be getting a title for Episode IX during this - and maybe some sort of teaser trailer.

’Almost certain extinction’: 1,200 species under severe threat across world:-

https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2019/mar/13/almost-certain-extinction-1200-species-under-severe-threat-across-world

‘Scientists map out threats faced by thousands of species of birds, mammals and amphibians’

‘More than 1,200 species globally face threats to their survival in more than 90% of their habitat and “will almost certainly face extinction” without conservation intervention, according to new research.’

I’ll try and find some good news or uplifting articles for in here - as the last few posts in here make for bloody depressing reading.

<strong>Despecialized Editions</strong> by Harmy : Index of 'How-To's &amp; Help' Threads | Index of 'General Despecialized Threads' | ‘Where are they? And how do I get them?’ mega-merge thread...
Time

Hi and welcome Dr. Vader,

Around 6/7 threads below this one in the Star Wars Preservation section… there are a number of threads on Harmy’s Despecialized Editions - which’ll hopefully help you find the info you are looking for.

There is also an Index thread pinned at the top of this section of the site - with a few links to various threads on the Despecialized Editions.

The Help section, linked at the top of the site, may also be of interest - as well as the General Assistance section of the site.

Good luck with it.

Tim Berners-Lee: ‘Stop web’s downward plunge to dysfunctional future’:-

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-47524474

‘Global action is required to tackle the web’s “downward plunge to a dysfunctional future”, its inventor Sir Tim Berners-Lee has told the BBC.’

^ an intriguing article (with video - and a few useful links contained within) on how data breaches, hacking and misinformation could be tackled - along with three specific areas of ‘dysfunction’ that he said were harming the web today:-

• malicious activity such as hacking and harassment
• problematic system design such as business models that reward clickbait
• unintended consequences - such as aggressive or polarised discussions

and also Tim Berners-Lee on 30 years of the web: ‘If we dream a little, we can get the web we want’:-

Proof of Lucas’ revisionism in Rinzler’s making-of book?
Time

SilverWook said:

Not sure if we’ve had a specific thread on Lucas’ inconsistent statements before.

There are a few older threads re various interviews and speeches by George Lucas in the ‘Archival / Historical discussions’ section of the Original Trilogy Discussion Index - and the ‘George Lucas / Lucasfilm’ section of the Theatrical Cuts vs. Subsequent Releases Index which highlight some of contradictions or discrepancies from the man himself. Though unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be one thread that goes through them all - or none that I can find so far…

Hopefully someone here will remember one (or know of one elsewhere) 😃

Your 2nd thread in 3 days asking for the same Predator Edit - without actually posting in lorang’s Predator thread itself…

Hopefully someone may take your post above in the ‘good’ humour it was no doubt intended - or some may think you’re just insulting people on here - which I’m sure isn’t the case…?

Good luck acquiring the Edit. If you have no luck please don’t make any further new threads on it.
