Visions Vol. 3 is the thing I’ve been looking forward to most in Star Wars of late (other than the 2nd season of Andor).
I’m intrigued to see what the four returning contributors Kamikaze Douga, Kinema citrus Co., Production I.G, and Trigger come up with for Vol, and if the other 5 new companies come up with something a little different to before…
Hopefully we’ll get to see more information and a trailer for Vol. 3 at ‘Celebration 2025 - Japan’ in April.
An old-skool fun light-hearted adventure with a few mysteries already building… and I’m intrigued to see where this goes.
I enjoyed watching it - wasn’t blow away - yet I was engaged throughout… and looking forward to the next episode. The kid actors were strong, and thankfully the adult actors were too - which helps sell the immersive 80’s vibe and enticing story.

Definitely something for both older fans of the OT - and newer / younger members, as well.

Okay, I’ll narrow it down and pick a scene (of many)… Maarva’s speech sequence - the acting, pacing, tension, delivery, editing, the sheer weight of it (after so many story strands culminating here for the season finale)… For me, it is one of the most epic scenes in all of Star Wars.

Ahsoka, S01xE02: ‘Toil and Trouble’.
For me, one of the more risible scenes is Sabine and Ahsoka essentially building an explosive device in a hospital! Seemingly for no other reason than for the drama of it? Why they couldn’t wait a few minutes to simply move to a safer location to do such a task is just handwaved away…
