I’ve been searching for something like this for AGES!! I would love a link to the enhanced Jim Dale audios pretty please!

Simply send almightycutie a PM and they’ll likely be able to help you out - as they state in their opening post…

PM me for a link

In general, simply sending a PM is the default way of asking for fan projects on here (unless indicated / instructed otherwise in the project thread)

❕ I have found a Fan Edit / Preservation I am interested in - but I don’t know how to get / acquire / download it? ❕

Please note that cluttering up the project threads with ‘link request’ posts is not only poor form - but is also against the rules & guidelines here - the reasons for which can be found below…

ATTENTION NEW MEMBERS: “Link begging” posts will be deleted without notice - in Announcements

^ Not being able to send a PM because your account is new… is NOT a reason to make ‘link request’ posts on here.

Along with…

Welcome to the OriginalTrilogy.com | Introduce yourself in here | Useful info within | About | Help | Announcements

❕ ‘How Do I Do This?’ on the OriginalTrilogy.com; some info & answers + member FAQs ❕ | Site Rules | Fan Project Rules

Please leave some feedback for the fan projects on here - or even a review… (and join in with the discussions on this forum!)

Hopefully the project threads will soon get back to being discussions about the actual projects themselves - queries, feedback, reviews, exchange of ideas, suggestions for future versions etc - and not be full of endless & unnecessary ‘link request’ posts.

Andor Special Look

That’s looks so good (must… keep… expectations… low… to… avoid… disappointment…) - screw it; that looks superb. 😃

They certainly pack a lot for a 2+ minute video as well.

Anyone undertaking ‘a weekly re-watch’ for season 1 of Andor - to lead-in to the season 2 premiere - should likely start it next week (starting 28th January).

I’ll be starting my rewatch on March 25th with three episodes a week to match the release schedule for season 2.

That’s a great call. 👍

Super Star Wars via a SNES emulator (unfortunately my SNES carts no longer work).

A lot of fun, if a little frustrating at times (with myself).

I really wish these kind of ‘play-through’ videos were around back in the day - though I guess we did have magazines and book guides to help (and alter GameFAQs etc)

Saga logos all in Return of the Jedi style?
Time

It is indeed a lovely logo.

The ‘Star Wars font, crawl & logo information’ section of ❕ An Index & Help Thread for Case Covers, Disc Labels, and Fan Art… ❕ may be of some help - there’s are a few useful sites, info, and also some free font download sites featured - hopefully one of them will have the font used for the logo available (a slight variant on ‘Times New Roman’).

Star Wars: SDTV & HDTV digital broadcast * database *
Time

The NBC TV broadcast for Empire Strikes Back - [shown on 11-22-1987 - WOC] is up on MySpleen…

It is a 5.16gb mp4 file - and looks pretty decent:-

The NBC TV broadcast for Return Of The Jedi - [shown on 19-03-1989 - WOC] is up on MySpleen too…

It is a 4.53gb mp4 file - and also looks to be a decent quality image.

Description: 'Another one for all of the Star Wars geeks out there, here is the TV showing of ‘‘Return of the Jedi’’ as broadcast on NBC Sunday Night Movie on March 19th 1989, with all the original ads included. I am aware that there is already a recording of that specific broadcast on MySpleen, but I believe this one should be of much higher visual quality.

You can once again thanks GoBlue1977 for providing the raw footage for this upload and making sure it would get shared on the Spleen. I did my usual post-processing on the footage to make sure to give you guys the best image quality possible.’

Both the above ‘Empire Strikes Back’ & ‘Return Of The Jedi’ US NBC TV broadcast preservations are also obtainable via…

📍 A few available Original Trilogy Preservations - from a long time ago . . . . 📍

The HBO TV Premiere for Star Wars (1977) - from the 1st February 1983 - is also available… amongst others. 👍

USA TV channel’s screening of ‘Empire Strikes Back’ - shown on 25th December 1995 is now available too.

It is complete - and With Original Commercials (WOC).

A 2.50gb mp4 file - digitised from a VHS recording - and the quality is pretty decent.

a 3+ minute trailer for ‘USA - Star Wars Trilogy Holiday Special - 12/25/95’:-

All Things Star Trek
Time

I finally saw ‘Section 31’ Paramount+ film a few weeks back - unfortunately it wasn’t for me. It felt more like a 2-part episode of Discovery rather than its own thing (or pilot for a Section 31 series - or for more S31 films).

A pity, though am glad others seemingly enjoyed it. Michelle Yeoh was good to watch - though the choreography and ultra-fast ‘snappy’ direction didn’t help anyone stand out in it (character-wise or acting-wise), and the story was a little predictable.

Have to say I prefer DS9’s take on Section 31 - yet that’s likely just me being overly fond of / nostalgic for DS9.

Looking forward to Season 3 of Strange New Worlds - though I don’t know much about what else Trek-wise is coming up.

Looking to commission a box for Harmy DE's
Time

A little late to this, yet there are a number of custom blu ray sets for Harmy’s Despecialized on here - many of which are listed up in ❕ An Index & Help Thread for Case Covers, Disc Labels, and Fan Art… ❕ - in the ‘Box Sets and 3-in-1 / Trilogy / Saga / Box Set covers’ section.

It may also be worth reaching out to the supremely talented ronwlim - who did these top quality Harmy DEED box sets…

There are a few more choices of Faces covers (and in far better quality too) available in the ‘cover collections’ section of ❕ An Index & Help Thread for Case Covers, Disc Labels, and Fan Art… ❕ - plus a few ‘Faces’ cover threads with decent options for a template of sorts.

If anyone can assist it would be greatly appreciated

It often takes more than a day for someone to get back to you, mate. Sometimes it can take over a month… or year.

Hopefully you read the thread and PM’d neohanime - who is kindly helping people out with the LOTR projects by Dre.

These should be of some help in learning how things work on here - as well the Fan Project Rules & Site Rules etc…
