Someone please tell me the plan to reopen beaches in Florida today is some kind of sick joke?
Wow. You guys just had circa 2,500 recorded deaths in the US today alone, and apparently not even close to reaching the top of the curve?

And some beaches are opening back up? Gyms too? That is fucked up - not only in the potential for further spreading of the virus - but also the mixed message it sends to people.
‘NHS staff told ‘wear aprons’ as protective gowns run out’:-

The Government, despite lip service and platitudes, has not done anywhere near enough to protect front-line staff in hospitals - let alone staff at care homes, hospices and connected services etc… and that’s before even reaching other emergency services and other essential workers.

This is from twitter about the NHS (in the UK every Thursday at 8pm many people go to and open their front doors and clap in support, unity and thanks for the NHS), though you don’t have to be a twitter member to watch it:-
‘This is unbelieveably good. Share this across the length and breadth of this country. #YouClapForMeNow’…

I hope people really do remember this, mate.
And also the 10 years of needless and idealogical cuts and austerity which has significantly weakened the health service, social care, and many other branches of public services.

Not necessarily ready to go back to work… But I’m certainly ready to turn the money faucet back on.
Anybody need a haircut?
Do you do home visits? I’m in all day mate;) At the start of the lockdown I had the ‘Donald Sutherland as Oddball from Kelly’s Heroes’ look - now it it is a maze-like multi-dimensionable ball of hair - would like a short back and sides!
Will tip, provide quality music and booze (am not sure as to the quality of the booze) 😉
Weird you should mention that. I dreamt we were hanging out together a couple weeks ago, and you looked exactly like Oddball. Why we were partying in what looked like a bombed out brick factory I have no idea. 😉
I did somewhat resemble Oddball until recently - though the beard came off a few weeks ago, and the magic went… 😉
‘a bombed out brick factory’? Sounds like a mod-shelter party to me! Bringing the booze 🍻 😃
