I am aware that there is already a recording of that specific broadcast on MySpleen, but I believe this one should be of much higher visual quality.
You can once again thanks GoBlue1977 for providing the raw footage for this upload and making sure it would get shared on the Spleen. I did my usual post-processing on the footage to make sure to give you guys the best image quality possible.’

The HBO TV Premiere for Star Wars (1977) - from the 1st February 1983 - is also available… amongst others. 👍
Lighter days are slowly coming back again (in the UK) - helps put a smile on faces, a spring in the step, and more people out on walks etc.
Bread and butter pudding - Aldi do a pretty tasty version of it. Piping hot - with custard… and it’s almost as good as the quality home-made versions mum and nan used to make. A decent sized serving for two as well - good value at £2.20.
Part of the ‘5 a day thing’ (it has currents in - so it counts 😉)

What was the name of the documentary that was shown in the UK on “Premier” and had the b-roll of Dave Prowse life cast?? I can’t for the life of me remember the name of it. Pretty sure Brian Muir was in the doc too.

I’ve not actually watched any of the LOTR movies, but I’m working my way through the books and then watching the films afterwards. I want to see them in the best quality possible and extended, and my streaming services just don’t provide that for me.

If anyone is able and willing, I’m looking for a link. I bought the 4k releases and the HDR is great but the DNR and excessive sharpening (especially in Towers) made me buy the 2011 EE releases. It would be amazing to have the best of both worlds. Thank you, DrDre!
