Oh. Is that the version on Netflix? I never noticed. I mean I’m 23 so other than when I was real little watching the hd versions on Netflix a few years ago was probably the first I’ve seen it but with as much of an audiophile as I am Im surprised I didn’t notice the orchestra part suddenly being a modern recording.

It’s my understanding that Michelle Yeoh is playing the Captain of Discovery and the Kilingon’s have their own Captain.

Sorry guys I meant the redone theme music for S2. I had to go look it up and make sure I wasn’t hearing the rerecorded theme or something. I’m more used to it now but still vastly prefer the S1 version.
The S2 theme dials up the vocal performance and drums, and there’s also apparently a different mix for S3 as well. All this is seemingly tied to Alexander Courage leaving the series.

I hated the design since day 1 of that preview. Haven’t followed a lick of Discovery after my head blew a gasket over the awful design of the ship.
What, a man builds a giant mound of dirt in his house and you aren’t entertained?
Truly the best judge of a show’s quality is a ship design.

Firefly is ok. Not as good as Cowboy Bebop but still nice. The movie version, Serenity, was quite a failure.
