Star Wars Headcanons — Page 3

My biggest headcanon is Darth Plagueis influenced the midi-chlorians to try creating the Chosen One in hope of finding a vessel to gain immortality for selfish reasons (only for the Force to strike back at him) while Anakin, his opposite, built C-3PO for selfless reasons of helping his mother.

“Heroes come in all sizes, and you don’t have to be a giant hero. You can be a very small hero. It’s just as important to understand that accepting self-responsibility for the things you do, having good manners, caring about other people - these are heroic acts. Everybody has the choice of being a hero or not being a hero every day of their lives.” - George Lucas

Tatooine, though materially insignificant, is “sacred” within the Force.

Anakin’s last thoughts as he smiled at Luke were of how much Luke reminded him of Padme.

Each version of the OT exists in an alternate timeline from each other. The theatrical versions are in their own canon, with any pre-1997 EU content optionally included. The 2004 and 2011 versions exist in the same canon as the prequels and all of the EU. The 2019 versions are in the Disney canon.

But we can’t turn back. Fear is their greatest defense. I doubt if the actual security there is any greater than it was on Aquilae or Sullust. And what there is is most likely directed towards a large-scale assault.

Even if you set the theatrical versions aside in their own timeline, that’s still three versions that are in Legends.

Hey, Ender! Welcome back. Glad to see you here again.

Well, the 2004 and 2011 versions are very similar. The 97 versions are kind of the oddball, since they precede the prequels, but they were basically superceded by the DVD versions, since most of the 2004 changes were to establish consistency with the PT.

Tatooine causes people to age in dog years.

I agree somewhat with this, but i also look at force users as people who age faster the closer they are to the force and how they harness it.
Obi-wan aged the way he did because of a mixture of stress, the planets conditions & the force within him causing him to age that way.

So you’re saying that without the Force, Yoda would have lived 2,000 years?

Maybe that’s why Grogu is 50 and still acts like a baby, despite Yoda having been training Jedi at 100ish.

A new piece of head canon. Palpatine told his loyalists on the death star to be ready on Exegol, as there was a chance Vader would betray him.

R2-D2 has been around much longer than any character knows. He’s passed from owner to owner, witnessing key events of galactic history and storing a chronicle of them in his memory banks, for many, many years. Over that time, he’s come to view that as his true primary function. Inconsistencies in the lore are a result of faults in R2’s ancient memory system. The Holiday Special is so trippy because R2’s memory was glitching at the time.

But we can’t turn back. Fear is their greatest defense. I doubt if the actual security there is any greater than it was on Aquilae or Sullust. And what there is is most likely directed towards a large-scale assault.

Palpatine created Jar Jar, to serve as a pawn in his scheme to get elected chancellor, the same way he created Snoke. That’s where the name “Jar Jar” comes from.

You’ve got to ask yourself one question: “Am I making Carrie Fisher’s ghost proud?”
Well, are ya, punk?

Those skeletons were not Owen and Beru. Both were a lot more formidable than their preferred modest lifestyle would indicate. They eliminated the first two Stormtroopers to arrive and stole their armor. Owen burned the bodies, and Beru sent a phony report saying they had interrogated and killed two civilians, but found no droids. Owen had already overheard Leia’s message and deduced Obi-Wan would be taking Luke to Alderaan, so they planned on reuniting there, but lost track of them when the planet was destroyed.

Honestly, that would undermine Luke’s arc and strip him of his personal motivation to fight the Empire.

It would be a fake-out death for both of them, but Luke wouldn’t know that. He’d still believe they were killed and would never get to reunite with them, so he’d still have his motivation for fighting the empire.

I think Rodney’s idea is a very fun ‘what if’ concept.

Different lightsaber builds or crystals produce the variants in ignition noises. That’s why Sith lightsabers make their distinctive sound, while Jedi blades largely make the ANH ignition sound (the ROTJ sfx being specific to a certain hilt/crystal designation).

Are NSFW headcanons allowed?

I think it depends on what sort of NSFW content you are going for…

NSFW Language - should be okay… just make sure to label it up very clearly as ‘NSFW’ (and if there is a ton of NSFW language then use the ‘spoiler’ tags too.)

Images of nudity - no.

Images like those found in ‘Beautiful Women / Men’ NSFW threads - probably best to label it as ‘NSFW’ and use the spoiler tags as above for the actual content.

Images of people having sex - no.

A little more on NSFW content on the site (including graphic depictions of violence, death, etc)

NSFW CONTENT AHEAD

Speaking of NSFW language, are descriptions (in the form of words, letters and sentences, no images whatsoever) of…

people/characters being thicc (a term that means having a big ass and/or curvy waist) or being in a (sexual) relationship

…allowed?

My headcanon is that Rey’s booty is mad thicc and Disney tricked us into thinking Poe wasn’t trying to tap that. 🤣

Obi-Wan was totally having “negations” with Asanj and Satine.

I’m just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe.

Star Wars has 3 eras: The eras are 1977-1983(pre Expanded Universe), (1983-2014) expanded universe, or (2014- now) Disney-bought version. Each are valid.
