That slug was an enemy on the SNES RotJ game. I remember one of my friends complaining about them adding creatures that aren’t in the films. I knew it was & got to point it out n’ feel superior for a bit.

Considering the gameplay, I’d think original creatures would be a purist’s least worry.

Maybe the Imperial Shuttle was going to be a charcoal-gray color at one point?

“That Darth Vader, man. Sure does love eating Jedi.”

May just be a primer coat. It occurs to me that the Kenner toy is about the same size as the filming miniature if not slightly larger!

Have anyone seen any photos of this droid before? The post said it was from ROTJ, but I couldn’t spot it in the torture droid scene, so this is either a background character that didn’t make the cut or they replaced it with another design at some point.

Interesting that George is wearing an ESB crew jacket considering the efforts they took to hide the ROTJ location shoot under the Blue Harvest name.
And I wish they made those jackets now.

You’re 2 years too late! Columbia did make a limited edition reproduction of that jacket in 2018!

You can find them for sale on eBay still. At a markup, of course.

Ewok head shops were briefly popular in the 80’s

Well, Clarice, have the Ewoks stopped screaming?

Why yes, I am a movie star! Thanks for noticing…

Ah, thanks.

This was the best picture I could find, but it seems he stood by the entrance to the “throne room.” Explains why I didn’t find him in the droid torture chamber scene.

The heck? The Unknown Comic was in ROTJ?

Unfortunately this picture didn’t come with any explanation. However, judging by a lot of these photos, I’m sure Hamill (like the rest of he cast) was just having fun and goofing off

Knowing that Phil Tippett took a lot of LSD while making ROTJ only makes a lot of these weird photos of him even funnier (or freakier?).

Whoa. Did not know that. Phil is looking a lot like Ray Harryhausen these days, or Santa Claus, I can’t decide…
