Hi all, I’ve been on this site for a bit now, but haven’t started my own topic before, so if I’m doing this wrong just let me know.

I’ve been seeing custom covers on here for a long time now, and I finally had time to make a set of my own. These are designed for Criterion 17mm cases for more room on the spines and inside.

Skywalker Saga Spines

The Phantom Menace

Attack of the Clones

Revenge of the Sith

A New Hope

The Empire Strikes Back

Return of the Jedi

The Force Awakens

The Last Jedi

The Rise of Skywalker

I was planning to just do those nine at first, but then I though that I needed to do covers for Solo and Rogue One too. These I did a little differently. Since I’d used the Mos Eisley concept art for the Skywalker Saga, I found concept art from the anthologies that would match up with spines well enough without totally blending in.

I’m pretty happy with the end result.

As of right now I haven’t printed these, so I don’t think the image files are the right size for the cases. There are some instructions at the end of the imgur album here which should be close to the right size, but I’m not completely sure if that will get it to the right size.

Loving the choices for Rogue One in particular 👍

A little patience goes a long way on this old-school Rebel base. If you are having issues finding what you are looking for, these will be of some help…

Those spines are great, and really dig the early 90’s VHS style yellow logos!

It’s been a while since I’ve done these now, I can’t remember for all of them but I do know that the ILM portfolios were great for II and III. A lot of the rest of it came from googling other people’s collections of concept art for the films.
