Rogue Squadron II is a good one, but I remember part III being full of bad third person levels. I think the Clone Wars game was kinda fun in a mindless action sort of way. Just don’t buy Jedi Outcast it’s a really bad port.

Cheers man, I remember the two Rogue Leader games on the GC from back in the day when I used to have it (loved the space battle missions IIRC), and sort of have fuzzy memories for Jedi Outcast (a lot of ‘Force Pushing’ people off cliffs and was somewhat repetitive after a while?) - though it’s coming free as part of the bundle, so no worries on that score.

Haven’t played Clone Wars or Bounty Hunter before - looking forward to that - though will likely start with the two Rogue Leader games - and be frustrated by how bad I’ve become at it 😃

Yeah I suck at getting the gold medals these days, the missions with Star Destroyers are a nightmare, but the Battle of Endor especially. I can’t remember how it was all too easy back when it was new? Must be losing it.

Just played Rogue Leader - man, I’m struggling to get Bronze medals! Doh! Am slowly unlocking the levels and getting the power-ups.

It’s a lot more difficult than I remember it - otherwise will have to blame the controller or something… (must be faulty) 😉

Still a lot of fun and enjoyment though (up until the medal screen, anyway).

All I can say is never use the targetting computer and always fire with small button presses to keep the accuracy high. And don’t die (easier say than done haha)

^ cheers man - the dying part is the one I’m having the most trouble with (as well at turning up the brightness so I can see those small pesky Tie Fighters!)

Have managed to get a few silver medals - though playing more for the ‘fun’ - more than the ‘medals’ now… (though that may not be by choice 😉)

EA ‘Fully Committed’ to Making More Star Wars Games’… (in light of reports of EA cancelling the in-development open-world Star Wars game)

^ That’s a real shame - an open world GFFA game… sounds like it could’ve been a blast. That we may be getting a smaller, more quicker-to-release game in it’s place just doesn’t sound promising at all.

Hopefully the Jedi: Fallen Order game will (out this year?) will be more than decent.

A decent article on EA and Star Wars games…

I love the old Super Nintendo games and the newer Lego games. I wish they made Lego games for Rogue One and The Last Jedi. The Force Awakens was the last one. Battlefront just looks like a money pit.

The only thing you can buy with real money in Battlefront II are skins.

Han: Hey Lando! You kept your promise, right? Not a scratch?
Lando: Well, what’s left of her isn’t scratched. All the scratched parts got knocked off along the way.
Han (exasperated): Knocked off?!

The phantom menace game is my favorite one. No kidding it is a perfect blend of action and puzzles.

I especially love when you are running and suddenly you fall through the solid floor and into an infinite void or graphical glitches.

BUCKETHEADS is a Star Wars Fan Film from the Stormtroopers’ perspective. Shot in September 2017 in Vancouver, BC, Canada, it was a wonderful journey, with over 76 people directly involved in this effort to tell a Star Wars Story from the Imperial point of view.’

BUCKETHEADS is a Star Wars Fan Film I will never watch because it was advertised to me by an obvious bot/troll/whatever who also used a random quote from one of this sites most hated ex-members.
Great job!

The Force Unleashed is fantastic even now.

Agree has over powered force abilities but its from dark side perspective so gets away with it and the story is so very good right till and including the end, just ignore the so called sequel with the way the original ended the sequel was poorly written and an obvious cash grab.

Also Jedi Power Battles was a good co-op hack n slash game

Because there’s seven of them, I can’t help but imagine the possibility of the Knights of Ren as video game bosses in the same vein as the Koopalings, the Hardboiled Heavies, or whatever those things from Sonic Lost World are called.

One thing that always bothered me about KOTOR II - TSL is the influence system, in which you can gain either positive or negative influence with your party members, by saying or doing stuff that they can agree or disagree with, and positive influence will bring them closer to your LS/DS alignment and negative influence will make them go the other way, opening up new dialogue options, and in some cases train them in the ways of the Force.

My problem is if you have negative influence your companions will open up to you. That doesn’t make any sense. Think about it, my companion dislikes me so much that they are now willing to tell me more about themselves, and later, they disapprove so strongly of my comments and actions that they now want me to train them in the ways of the Force. That’s not how relationships work. I would want to have everyone on my side.
