I just turned on a lamp with a plastic shade/hood/whatever you want to call it that evidently wasn’t screwed all the way in. I walked away from it for a few minutes and came back to find the shade had come into contact with the bulb and started melting. Now my bedroom reeks of burnt plastic, and I can’t air it out because it’s 3°F outside. No good.

As unpleasant as it is maybe you should close the door and air it out overnight and sleep on the couch or something. I don’t see those fumes being great for you.

It’s based on a book… so why would they write a completely different script in the first place??

I feel like I took forever to write my TLJ review post and I still haven’t expressed all that I’ve wanted to about the movie.
^ I found it to be an enjoyable and agreeable read.
(though there is just so much going on in the film)

One Christmas gift I recieved is the DVD set of ST:DS9. I would b*tch about the fact that it isn’t ever going to be on Blu-Ray, but that’s all been said before by others. My issue is that the newest complete series release has a typo in the S1 episode list, which refers to one episode as “THE FORSAK EN”. Also, the S4-6 case is broken almost in half, but I guess I can just tape that together.
