Rest In Peace, Mr. Hooper, and thanks for all the scares.

The Harry Dean Machine has sadly powered down after ninety one years of service. It now feels a little less safe to be a ginger cat.

No mention of Repo Man?
That’s two cast members from Alien we’ve lost this year.

One of my absolute favorite artists, Basil Gogos has died at 78 years old.
All of my heroes are dying and nobody is replacing them.
RIP Harry Dean Stanton. At least he was 91.

Which adds up to 10 which is the number of completion.
RIP Mr. Stanton. His appearance would make any film instantly better, even the not-so-good-ones.

Dang, the playboy himself!
Dammit.
I think I saw him on a vintage Carson the other night. Always came off as an incredibly cool and literate guy. Those of us of a certain age can attest to discovering a copy of Playboy where our dads thought it wouldn’t be found.
I can only hope he was surrounded by beautiful women at the time.

Never bought one of his albums but always liked the singles and the music videos he made. One of the more creative guys in the MTV era.
