love that picture - the style, colouring, the surprised look on the Rebel’s face that he actually did that to Vader! 😃
I think this may be by the same artist? (seems similar in style to my uneducated eye):-

I think I’ve seen a similar pic with Ben standing over Vader’s defeated body (instead of the stormtroopers) - will try dig it out…

The K2 droid is a nice touch.

What makes that image so good for me is that it’s an entirely new look at something that must have happened in the original continuity. Star Wars has many such ‘must have happened’ moments that are never shown, and that’s the key to unleashing people’s imagination, even 40 years after the fact.
You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.

That’s a very cool painting. But what is going on with Vader’s arm? It looks like it’s coming out of his waist. And it’s the wrong (ESB style) glove. That I can forgive, but the angle/perspective on the arm itself is just bizarre. It’s kinda ruining the awesomeness of the picture for me cause that’s all my eye is drawn to once I noticed it. 😕

That bothered me as well. I think it is an illusion caused by the shadow of his cape.

I hadn’t noticed it, until you mentioned it. It’s true, it does look like Vader’s arm is coming out of his waist.
It’s like the Seinfeld episode about the red dot on the cashmere sweater.
