Crashed my car last night. I’m fine and the car got me home, but it’s probably done for.
I’m very, very frustrated.
Having been the victim of home burglary when I was gone (they took nearly everything) and a flood several years later (lost everything), I learned a long time ago that it’s just stuff. You make peace with the loss and you get new stuff. You made it home and have only to worry about transportation. Many people aren’t nearly that lucky.
Pour a drink, prepare for the insurance headache, and think about your next vehicle. I second Jason’s sentiment - glad you’re ok.

And Anchor, you’re absolutely right. It’s just that it was such a silly mistake and being without wheels is gonna be a pain in the ass. But, at least nobody got hurt and I have no attachment to the car except for it’s usefulness.
Could be worse. Could be raining!

Also glad to here you’re alright, Ray. Agreed that not having transportation sucks - hopefully you can get it resolved soon, and if not, that you’ve got enough of a support network that you won’t be totally screwed when it comes to needing rides to and from places.

I’m presently not happy with the life path I’m on (career path, where I live, etc.). I’m young and in a position to make a change, but I also feel this will be my last chance to do so, so I’m afraid of doing something I’ll regret. But also afraid that I might regret inaction later too. I need to make a decision and I’m stressed out about it.
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.
