Very cool trailer! But I’m not buying this guy as Han yet.
Looks like a nice balance of serious\lighter. The humor is mild and on-par with what we’ve seen in the past films with regard to Han. No issue here.
Glover seems like a perfect Lando. Really nice to see Ms Clarke in something other than GoT, where she’s fairly monotone character-wise. Looks like she may be, as our hero was in 1977, not necessarily trustworthy. I don’t think I’ll have a problem with Ehrenreich. A small sample size for sure, but he seems like Han. The sarcasm, the “that’s yes”, and his trademark over-confidence feel correct.

Yeah it will only be the 6th movie where we get to see the Falcon 😃
Curiously, most of the trailer doesn’t feel western, but more swashbuckler oriented (like this shot of the Destroyer out of the fog).
I’m digging the idea of seeing the Falcon as a new ship. While we knew decades ago that he won the ship from Lando, for no reason in particular I always assumed it was Lando’s first. Interesting to think it would have been before either of them owned it outright. This admittedly early look opens up the possibility that they gambled for the chance to win or perhaps even steal it when it was new.
So if this guy in Rogue One was called “space monkey”…
what does that make this guy?
It’s probably just a coincidence, but it would be funny if the anthology films would start a ‘tradition’ of introducing a new monkey-alien every other year.

What happened to the colors ? You know, that little thing we got in both the OT and the PT and which seems to be absent of the Disney Era…
I like how the people who dislike all the Disney SW movies somehow keep coming back to complain about each new one. Why not just give up already?
Also, it seem like we can now write off the Fuerteventura sets that we saw photos of last year as being Tatooine;

I wonder if the Falcon has problems going into Hyperspace always or after what he takes Falcon through in this film. That would be hilarious if Lando or Han be like wtf? As we hear the Falcon wind down instead of going into Hyperspace.

I’m still concerned about this movie after reading about all the production issues. The visuals in the trailer look cool. I’m not buying Alden as Solo but I can set my doubts aside when I watch the movie. I also hope that the trailer music isn’t the same style as the final film.
I wonder if there will be a subplot about Lando shaving his beard.
These loo a lot like the dice from the Falcon? There’s been speculation that they’d show up since they were so ‘important’ in TLJ, and a lot of people assumed they were the dice he used to win the Falcon from Lando. It would be interesting if he had these dice throughout the entire film for some reason. Maybe this film will do more than just show them in the game, but give them some larger importance to Han’s character.

The film looks great but he is not Solo. Looks like they should have recast and gone with Ingruber while they were switching out directors.
Strangely, Ehrenreich sounds like Ingruber when he’s not doing his Harrison voice.
