I just had to get that off my chest. I feel much better now.

Going off of that post, I think you meant you emptied your bowels. That also usually makes one feel better…
This reminds me of the post-credits scene in one of the unreleased adaptations of Star Wars 1974.
And sadly, I’m totally serious.

Do they not see the birds controlled in the atmosphere of the sky? none holds them up except Allah. Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe. – Quran (16:79)

IIRC, ATMachine believes Lucasfilm shot a bunch of alternate SW movies which were never publicly released. At least one of them starred Gillian Anderson as Leia.
The theatricals are terrible, but the problems for me weren’t the story or plot our character dynamics.
At least in the case of TPM I liked the theatrical much more than what ended up on DVD.
“People who alter or destroy works of art and our cultural heritage for profit or as an exercise of power are barbarians”
“In the future it will become even easier for old negatives to become lost and be “replaced” by new altered negatives. This would be a great loss to our society. Our cultural history must not be allowed to be rewritten.” --George Lucas on March 3, 1988

That’s not what he’s talking about, he’s talking about official releases vs. fanedits.

I don’t know whether to laugh or facepalm that not even his own dictated prequels are safe from his constant meddling with the theatrical versions. So I take it you also can’t get the OUPT anymore much like the OUT? Not that it’s like the tragedy of the OT situation but still, an oddly frustrating continuation of Georgia’s fascination with giving SW fans the middle finger…

the theatrical PT was never available on dvd.
Weird, eh?
I remember reading somewhere than the BD version of ROTS matches the theatrical cut.
Ah. It might.
It doesn’t. There was some extra CG moss added to the roofs on Kashyyyk (the wookie planet) and some different voiceover effects when the clones descend from the ropes in Utapau (where Obi-Wan fights Grievous).

The intro music is different.
But nobody cares about ROTS or any of the prequels, which makes me wonder why I know that.

You sure?

I was pretty sure there was a smoother fade from the main theme to the battle music in one of the versions.
Nevertheless, I’m pretty sure the soundtrack has a different version from the movie.

It does, but it’s always been the same in the movie itself.
Dear Matt Brown,
Do Apple and MS think that the Prequels are THAT bad?
Is Apple Pippin video console THAT bad ?
Is Microsoft Windows 8 THAT bad ?
Thank you for your answer. May the force be with you.

mattbrown is no longer in a position to post any links to ‘help’ or ‘assistance’ more, and ‘his’ posts are now deleted.
I did like that he thought the Microsoft Service Centre (and his spam links) would help The Prequels though 😃
A little patience goes a long way on this old-school Rebel base. If you are having issues finding what you are looking for, these will be of some help…

Episode 9 Rewrite, The Starlight Project (Released!) and ANH Technicolor Project (Released!)
The Star Wars prequels are okay. Remember children that the original trilogy had some clunky ass dialogue and acting in it as well. And Luke and Leia being brother and sister is pretty ridiculous and gross.

I don’t believe you! It’s another trick!

That’s like saying a road with potholes is comparable to a demolished bridge 'cause they both have holes in them.

ROTJ sucks too.
The Star Wars prequels are okay.
Disagree quite strongly. You probably just need to watch them a bunch more like you did with TFA.
