Hahahaha.

Fucking really?

What I think every time you mention what you own and what you don’t or won’t!

(Roughly 86.3% of your posts btw. I have the data in a Google doc spreadsheet for anyone who wants to verify it.)

My favourite movie is The Godfather, so I guess I’ll go with Francis Ford Coppola.

I once thought as you do, then I realized Roland Emmerich’s a hack no matter how much I like Stargate.

(JFTR, I am not claiming Coppola is a bad director like Emmerich.)

Why Google doc instead of an Excel spreadsheet?

Because he doesn’t want to have to store it on his Dropbox.

James Whale
George Romero

Ed Wood
Quentin Tarantino
Edgar Wright
John Waters
Alfred Hitchcock

I find Edgar Wright a quality and interesting director - so much that I’d go watch a movie or tv series of his even if I didn’t particularity like/interested by the genre, plot, actors, etc.

If you haven’t already watch Spaced (1999 UK comedy on Channel 4) I suggest you give it a go mate - some really nice homages in there and references to a lot films he, Simon Pegg & Jessica Stevenson enjoyed or were influenced by, plus it was pretty funny it it’s own right too 😃

Think it was free on netflix not so long ago - though it goes for pennies on dvd at ebay etc…

Spaced is one of my favorite series of all time! 😄

😄

I know there were meant to be 3 seasons in total - and they get asked still if they’d still do the third season (really unlikely given they’d all gone on to 'bigger things etc - though it’d be great to have a 1-hour one-off special, 20 years on, just to catch up with them all again!

Hullo Bwian 😃

I’d love another look at those characters! Like you said, even an hour long special would be great!

It’s weird how many directors have the first name “Early.”

That hack could set out to direct a film in India and end up filming it in the Caribbean Isles.
