“R2, you’re facing the wrong direction… Can you turn, just, never mind let’s just take the picture”

Do you think the artist thought the back of R2 was actually the front, or what? Artistic choice?

That magazine cover is actually from a Boris Vallejo painting:

(In the complete painting the position of R2 makes more sense)

Han: Hey Lando! You kept your promise, right? Not a scratch?
Lando: Well, what’s left of her isn’t scratched. All the scratched parts got knocked off along the way.
Han (exasperated): Knocked off?!

Interesting that the Boris poster art got reused that way. Wonder if it was done with permission? How did they even alter the poster art in the pre digital era?

I’d love that poster were it not for Vader’s disproportionately huge arms.

I think his arms are supposed to be somewhat closer than the rest of his body. His hands are a bit on the huge side though.

My mother can’t have too much potassium in her diet. Perhaps that’s one reason why she’s not a SW fan.

I’m surprised this hasn’t been done for a fan fan film, yet… 😃

I find that answer vague and unconvincing. Why don’t you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don’t you dig how beautiful it is out here? And say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Just play the mode in Battlefront II !

“They always wanted to do Ewok Hunt” says Steve Arnold with a wry grin.

“I always remember, there used to be a thing on the whiteboard behind someone’s desk, whenever we’d have journalists in to visit,” reveals Chip Morningstar. “It said Ewok Hunt Design Meeting 3PM.”

“Better than Ewok Hunt 3PM,” quips Ron [Gilbert].

from this article about Lucasfilm Games in the 1980s

“That Darth Vader, man. Sure does love eating Jedi.”

The fact Yoda has the cat’s eyes is a nice touch. What would be some good captions for that photo?

“You said I was the Chosen One!”

“Wrong you are, another one there is, when you and Padme had baby.”

“That’s unfair! I built that pod when I was nine! I had to make sure it still worked.”

“Hilarious it was. Like a Hutt riding a tricycle, you looked.”
