In light of current events, I’ve suspended my Last Shot read in order to read I’ll Be Gone in the Dark so that I can get up to speed on this Golden State Killer stuff. Last Shot was beginning to lose my interest anyway, so hopefully a break from it will get me back on board. The flashback stuff with the mad doctor is some of the most interesting stuff in any of these books, but the “present day” story isn’t doing much for me.

Back to the more serious matter of Canon…
The idea and purpose behind dividing the EU it into Canon/Legends in 2014, for “one consistent narrative”, and then ignoring that whenever Dave Filoni re-writes or retcons another creative’s work; be it from Canon or Legends - for his own projects…

the poe dameron comic is cool
Reading Resistance Reborn and it’s pretty cool so far. I saw a headline that said ‘this is the Avengers of Star Wars’ which is actually fairly accurate. It’s the ST characters + the Battlefront II characters + the Poe Dameron comic characters + the Aftermath characters + whoever else shows up. I’m interested to see where it all goes (hopefully more than just a TROS tease) but either way it’s worth a check if you’ve been following the new canon stuff.
I read the Allegiance comic recently which doesn’t have much substance to it but is nevertheless a fun little series. We’ve been starved of content with the new characters so it’s nice to finally start seeing them on expanded adventures.
