Seriously, though, if Luke had slain Palpatine in rage then became God Emperor of
DuneTatooine, that would’ve made ROTJ a much better movie.
Got it, leave the emperor alive because it’s worse to kill than it is to kill a genocidal maniac. The Jedi really are a cult, aren’t they?

What about when he killed the Rancor and made its poor handler cry? That’s pretty dark.
No no no. The rancor fell asleep and used that door as a blanket.
The handler was so relived that the thing was finally getting some Z’s that it brought tears of joy.What about when he blew up the sail barge and everyone on it?
They thanked him later. Those people love the heat. That’s what Rage Against The Machine’s Sleep Now In The Fire is about.

That’s completely ridiculous. Are we supposed to be shocked that Luke Skywalker, a soldier for all intents and purposes, killed a lot of people? And to compare to Vader on-screen killings is just dumb.
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.

I think its more interesting to think about than factual, of course over 19+ years Vader killed more. But Luke must of killed a bit in between movies as well, plus he had less time than Vader- so we cannot accurately pinpoint every kill. Comparing on screen deaths in probably the best way to go. It’s a thought experiment.

I Haven’t seen TLJ AND THE TCW Movie yet. But When a TLJ Edit Comes out im going to get the TLJ Movie. and Not watch the original. Watch the edit. So when i watch the movie i don’t need to remind myself of what is cut here and there.

i’m pretty sure i will like it. It’s just That People have a lot of Flaws about it. So i don’t have to experience the Said Flaws by Watching a Edit. Kind of like when People want Other people to watch say. The Despecialized Editions. Other Then the 2004/2011 Editions.

i’m pretty sure i will like it. It’s just That People have a lot of Flaws about it. So i don’t have to experience the Said Flaws by Watching a Edit. Kind of like when People want Other people to watch say. The Despecialized Editions. Other Then the 2004/2011 Editions.
paja I would love to know how you decide which words to capitalize. Just as an example, why capitalize “people” the first time but not the second? I need to know this.

Why would you ever choose to wait for a fan edit for a movie you haven’t seen just because some people didn’t like parts of it?! How would you know which edit to choose? Maybe the one you pick cut out a bunch of stuff you would have liked, or kept in a bunch of stuff you’re going to hate!
Watch the original version first, man. Then decide what you liked and didn’t like about it and use that to determine what edit you may or may not get. Hell, you might think it’s flawless and not get any edit of it.

And this makes no sense either. A fan edit and a preservation of the originally-released version are two completely different things.
