In a world where movies like TFA and RO are PG 13, I don’t know if I even know what PG means anymore.

If a joke about Lucas or any other SW personality is in questionable taste, best to not go there. I know some people need to vent, but there are better ways to express your frustration.

I understand what you were saying. I was just taking an opportunity to make fun of a world where war movies are automatically PG13. No wonder kids are so soft these days 😛

I don’t know much about conventions like Celebration etc - but I imagine no-one on any of the panels will be bringing up, or referring, to the subject of the lack of the OOT? - despite it actually being the 40th anniversary of the version of the film that started it all - and we all still can’t buy.

(if so, I wonder who actually says to people not to mention that? Someone from Lucasfilm or Disney, or other?)

I mean, in retrospect, an announcement on May 25 with a fall release would make more sense than a celebration announcement in front of George, if it is indeed in the works. They certainly won’t let May 25 go by without any fanfare.

Dunno why some people expected an OOT release. The vast majority of people I speak to don’t even know there’s different versions, and releasing them around the same time as TLJ would be sort of pointless.

Clicked around the video a bit. Indeed, they did play Yub Nub. Question is, were they trolling or foreshadowing?

Thought the whole stream today was pretty good (no announcements aside). Carrie tribute + Williams live was extremely impressive and Ray Park’s panel was a load of fun too. He’s falls just far enough on the fun-crazy side rather than the scary-cringe-crazy side haha.

I don’t think releasing the OOT alongside “his” versions would be disrespectful. I don’t believe that’s the problem.
