Yeah, he was the frontman for The Bad Seeds.

Exactly. Few people know who Nick Drake was, but he made excellent music.

Hey wait, I was thinking of Nick Cage.

Nick Drake is that Drake guy the kids talk about.

Illegal Alien - Genesis

I know this came up before, but for some reason I’m a big fan of both ABACAB and Invisible Touch, but never cared much for that album. Though I do like that song.

We Can’t Dance had some good songs but signaled the beginning of the end.

Some would say that Phil Collins’ takeover was the beginning of the end.

Melissa and Don’t Break The Oath are great albums. But those are the only two I heard from them.

Never heard of them so they probably aren’t any good.

I haven’t heard a lot of the music you’ve posted ITT so by that logic… I haven’t listened to a lot of good music.

Finished.

If this is actually good music I’ll pass. Not my cup of tea.

I’m well aware, and furthermore I never cared for his solo stuff. But I will defend ABACAB and Invisible Touch to the death.

You just dissed They Might Be Giants after defending thrash metal. There are no words.

Phil Collins had some good solo work on a song to song basis, but I don’t care for any of his albums as a whole. I also like Abacab, Genesis, and Invisible Touch, so I do not hold that opinion, but it’s a commonly held one.

Hmm last songs on the radio coming home

Come Sail Away - Styx

Have You Ever Seen The Rain - CCR

Walk This Away - Aerosmith

I am not lost. I know exactly where I am, I am in some shitty fucking hell, which is exactly what I deserve. But you… YOU are lost. All my life I thought that I needed you, that I couldn’t survive without you, fuck! Fuck! It was the other fucking way around. It was the other way around.

It is a tough one but I was hooked with Home By The Sea. I do like the ones you mention as well. Domino is another big favorite Genesis track of mine.

One of my favorite bands, and the video for True Faith is one of my favorite videos.

New York City - They Might Be Giants

The Galaxie 500 cover is worth a listen to - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD5l30Rhs60

Love They Might Be Giants - looks a really great band to go see live too, saw their AV Club video of covering Chumbawumba’s Tubthumping recently 😃
