Nothing groundbreaking in the story, but great publicity for the cause. Probably some Mouse investors reading.

I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.

Great reporting by this guy. SMH. For one, i am NOT disabled and i don’t live in Northampton either.

What a strange thing to include in the article. It’s irrelevant, and he clearly did not hear it from a credible source.

Did he interview you for this? Or are those recycled quotes?

He did an interview over the phone. He asked me about what i did for a living and i said that i was unemployed due to health reasons. It did seem at times that he was trying to get me to say that it was a disability, but i never said that i was disabled. It was hard to understand him at times

Stuff like this makes me hate the media more and more

Next thing you know, there will be a Harmy imposter running around, just like happened with Stanley Kubrick. 😉

Where were you in '77?

God, that comments section is depressing. Some guy wrote a lengthy thing about how this is pointless because the 2006 discs are available and he doesn’t see how it could possibly get any better than that. And, of course, the sadly predictable deluge of “you guys need to get out of the basement and get a life/girlfriend” jabs and weirdly misplaced TFA sexism. Stay gold, internet.

Wouldn’t the same thing apply to the people who comment on such articles? 😉

Sometimes you can find a legitimately good discussion in a comments section, but it’s so rare that you’re better off avoiding comments sections.

I think I’ve about had it with comments sections these days. People blindly saying things without any good reasoning or understanding of others. Even worse when it has to do with Star Wars.

Some of these new posters are making this forum start to feel like a comments section at times.

Not everyone of course, but boy are there some bad apples floating around…

Beat me to it.

The comments on the article are disgusting. “HEY LOOK EVERYBODY, THEY’RE NERDS. THEY SHOULD BE DOING SOMETHING BETTER WITH THEIR LIVES”.

I’d love to see the work they do in their free time. Clearly it would be much more constructive and beneficial to society than what goes on here.

To be honest that’s what you’d expect someone who is living in Northampton to say… 😉

A little patience goes a long way on this old-school Rebel base. If you are having issues finding what you are looking for, these will be of some help…
