Are your custom covers still available for download? I absolutely love them!

Who are you asking? Harmy? You may have noticed there’s an awful lot of people posting custom covers on this forum so it may help to be specific as to who you’re referring to.
The set designed by ‘Video Collector’
You will have to pm him. Specify which set you want. Don’t be discouraged if he takes a couple days to respond, he checks the forums really sparatically.
Thank you 😃
My first real attempt at cover art. Not entirely sure if I got the size right on the spine and there are probably some other issues too.
TFA Blu Ray in the style of 1995 “Faces” VHS tapes.
(Horrible Low Quality) Mock Up
EDIT: Had to fix a typo, added Blu Ray logo and found higher quality Disney logo.

Looks pretty good. Only problems I have with it are the TFA logo on the spine is pretty obviously smushed. I would suggest editing it so either the whole thing is smaller, or so “The Force” fills up the spine height and “Awakens” is moved next to it as opposed to under it.
This is much better! Thanks for the advice Darth Lucas!

Only other issue I have is the “walt disney home video” logo being there. It isn’t on the official BD and in addition to that, it’s a logo they haven’t used since like the late nineties I think.
I know, but I thought it would fit since it was based on a 90s VHS box.
Is Disney’s logo nowhere on the official BD?

I imagine the Blu-Ray would have the Disney blu-ray logo (and Disney DVD logo for the stand alone DVD version) on the box. The “Walt Disney Home Video” logo was used on VHS releases.
Edit : Either that or “Walt Disney Home Entertainment” logo would be on the cover of both Blu-Ray and DVD release.
Yeah that’s what I thought. Just figured the 90s logo would be more fitting.

Does anyone have a nice vintage looking cover for the whole Despecialized trilogy to go in one single 3 disc blu ray case?
It should come as a surprise to no one that I’ve made a custom cover for Star Wars The Force Awakens. (And will probably do a few more in the upcoming weeks.)
Available to share with all you forum-folk 😃
This one uses the Adam Relf poster artwork. (Good as it is, the absence of Han Solo is a major oversight, and the prominence of Luke is quite misleading.) I reformatted the poster to fit on a Blu-ray front and adjusted the colours more to my liking, otherwise I left it alone.
PM me for links.
Oh shoot, how do I paste images into posts now? I really loathe this new forum software!

In FrankT’s thread further down in this section (plus a lot of other good 3-disc OT boxsets in various designer threads) there is this:-
Arrow “White Box” Blu-rays - Reversible sleeve
A box for the entire trilogy. Available here with options for extras from ronwlim. A reissue is anticipated with options for phildesfr’s BD-ISOs.
as well as Harmy’s own:-

Looks way better than the official blu-ray even if Solo is missing and Luke is really big

I have just recently made two custom covers to go alongside my Despecialized Edition copies. Since I use ronwlim’s box art for them, I decided to make a custom cover inspired by his work. I also did this back in January with a mock-up for the Phantom Menace, so if it looks familiar, that is why. Below you find the “standard” insert that I use, an alternate insert with Drew Struzan art, and the insert inside that features a textless version of the blue Finn vs. Kylo Ren IMAX poster art.
NOTE: These are sized for the very same Criterion clear cases Ron suggests for his box art of the Despecialized trilogy. I’ll get a download link up if anyone wants to use them. Enjoy!

EDIT: Decided to make a chapter list insert to include. The art for Rey’s IMAX poster is used:

Long Time Lurker. First time poster. Love all the work going on here. Got some of the files and had a play around, replaced some images with better color balance and the like. Made 3 sets just because I had some time on my hands. Couple of interesting comping / material things. I uses a metallic photo paper for some of the covers. Used a 3M roll of dry mount for the slipcases (so much better than the spray mount), 3M single sided laminate sheets, Verbatim glossy disks, and a HP double sided brochure inject paper. Can anyone advise on how to embed images into my post? I only seem to be able to paste links. Thanks

SET 1 - A mix of several elements I’d used from this site - Thank you to everyone especially the designs provided by RonLim, and whomever made the VHS and widescreen sleeve designs that were so perfect. I added several new elements, retouched / replaced some of the images for color balance, and based the slip case off the laser disk box
SET 2 - My favorite covers from the widescreen vhs days with manga insides. These also had insets i’m not showing.
SET3 - based on laser disk sleeves
Thanks. That worked 😃

These all look beautiful!! 😄
Stunning - some great work there.
Really like the slip cover box for the 3 discs on Set 2, the ‘The Despecialized Edition’ logo being the same font as ‘The Widescreen Edition’, as well as the Laserdisc homage 😃
