An option to search text within posts

Being a newcomer to this forum, it's hard to know what topics have been discussed previously. The search function is very limited because as far as I can see it only searches thread titles and not the text within each post. Am I missing an option somewhere?

Guidelines for post content and general behaviour: read announcement here

Max. allowable image sizes in signatures: reminder here

I haven't investigated this any further because I'm considering moving the forums over to vBulletin. Its search function is much more robust, as is the interface.

^ would that change the look of the board too, Jay?

(I'm not very clued up on bbs and their formats etc)

A little patience goes a long way on this old-school Rebel base. If you are having issues finding what you are looking for, these will be of some help…

Welcome to the OriginalTrilogy.com | Introduce yourself in here | Useful info within : About : Help : Site Rules : Fan Project Rules : Announcements
How do I do this?’ on the OriginalTrilogy.com - includes info on how to ask for a fan project and how to search for projects and threads on OT•com.

A Project Index for Star Wars Preservations (Harmy’s Despecialized & 4K77/80/83 etc) : A Project Index for Star Wars Fan Edits (adywan & Hal 9000 etc)

Take your time to look around this site before posting… Do NOT just lazily make yet another ‘link request’ post - or a new thread asking for projects.

I'd have control over color schemes and font treatments within the administration software, and I could also recode the templates if I wanted to in order to maintain the same overall look.

Not really. The site is pretty much on autopilot right now. Just moved, started a new job, and starting a new business after the new year. Lots to do.

I think the other thing holding up the move was the lack of a final script to move everything from FuseTalk to vBulletin. They may have completed it by now though.

I need the script because I'd have to transfer everything by hand otherwise.

Not gonna happen.
