Wake up call for whom? For over a year the city has been in a heightened state of terror watch.
It's to be expected that a car bomb and now the one in Glasgow would occur right around the time of a new PM and the anniversary of the London subway attacks.
This kind of stuff is going to happen, until countries that harbour and aid terrorists are bombed back into the stone ages.

Not sure we have been hit hard - yes, it is pretty worrying that these people have come close to their aims - but they have fecked it up so far...

Arnie.D - seems one of the people arrested is from Iran, have no details of nationalites of any others arrested at the mo.

Speaking of the bloody rain. I read in the paper this morning that we'll be lucky to have a summer this year. Apparently the only 'sunny' day we'll get is July 15th - -just bloody great.
