Yep, I completely agree - it is such a pity so many project threads are full of links request post - and little else. Though it is a great pity that you have stopped using these forums (as well as a number of others have) due to others’ spamming the forums with unnecessary and tiresome link requests. I hope that soon changes and people return to talking more about the intriguing projects themselves once again…

Yet instead people still make posts in the thread asking how to acquire the project - or make a post asking for a link instead (or seemingly couldn’t be bothered to read up on how so send a PM on here in some cases).
I also find if somewhat difficult to understand why so few members seem to be able to grasp how to ask for a project on here…

• Do NOT simply just post ‘a request’ for links in the project thread (unless asked to do so by the editor or preservationist) - doing so just fills threads up with endless link requests… which often disrupts any ongoing discussions on the projects themselves, further ideas, and also much-valued feedback occurring in such threads.

Huh? Aren’t you the one advertising this? If you don’t want people to pirate these film, then why are posting a thread in the “film preservations” section? Do you want people to pay you to purchase and view this print by yourself?

This thread had nothing to do with any scan of my own but a potential print that could be purchased and scanned, but got away. Then it turned into people begging for a scan that had nothing to do with the creation of the thread. Read please 😃
