i’d like to see a star wars movie that’s sort of like Castaway. i think that’d be pretty fun.

See that’s the sort of creative thinking we need if this franchise is going to prosper.

^ I second that. We need a lighthearted movie set in the SW universe without any battles.

I don’t know about that. People like Star Wars because they get to escape to a galaxy far far away, where they can be magical knights or space pirates. That would just ground the universe in a boring way.

A Disney+ series 8-10 episodes 40+ minutes long per episode.

A young Leia (around 12), and Bail Organa (before Jimmy Smits gets any older) Let’s explore Alderaan some, let’s see Leia’s Alderaan training. Clearly she’s had some weapons training (into the garbage chute, Flyboy!)

Can she pilot a ship like Anakin? Does she have those quick reflexes that force users have?

Does Yoda try to contact her? Does Obi-wan try to contact her? A Ewan McGregor cameo or voice over.

Maybe Leia’s dreams are visions of Yoda/Kenobi, or of far away places and she doesn’t understand them.

You could have Leia having nightmares about Vader, but it’s just a dark shadowy figure. She could also see images of her mother, bittersweet moments.

The droids with C-3P0 in a few episodes, but mostly R2-D2.

Mon Mothma could arrive to visit Bail Organa

Let’s have an adventure on Alderaan, let’s get to know the planet before it explodes.

These are just some of the things they could explore, just to have an idea

Would anyone like something like this?

Thoughts?

Not for me mate - however it’d sound like something decent as an animated anthology series, in a half-hour ‘Galaxy of Adventures’ style. Revisiting Leia across differing times or events of her life, maybe? It’d certainly be appealing to see more of Alderaan, how Leia becomes part of the fledging Rebellion, and the events you mentioned too.

A little patience goes a long way on this old-school Rebel base. If you are having issues finding what you are looking for, these will be of some help…

A sequel to Solo a Star Wars Story.

That isn’t ruined by studio meddling and creative disagreements. Or bad press. Has a good director, is well lit and shot. Has a cracking good screenplay. A fantastic score.

Sounds interesting for sure but, although I haven’t read it, we do already have the ‘Leia: Princess of Alderaan’ novel and manga adaptation which might cover much of what you’d like to see in this potential show. In case it interests you!

I would love this too. I actually do think Solo is very underrated, broadly a fun film which DOES have a fantastic score (I see where the lighting complaints come from though!). I’m beginning to think we will never get a Solo 2 though, because story threads are being picked up in comics - such as the Han and Chewie miniseries recently announced and Qi’ra’s appearances in War of the Bounty Hunters.

I would love to see a Solo 2, starting to work for Jabba the Hutt and hanging around Mos Eisley just a little bit. We could see him trying to make repairs on the ship. Solo making enemies not only with Greedo, but others too, and of course more Chewbacca.

It would be fun.

Lando is supposed to be getting his own series, I hope to see him go to Bespin and meet Lobot when he arrives. It probably won’t happen until the very end of the series or the final season.

I wouldn’t mind a Leia film or show. Its hard to replace Carrie though its quite impossible. I feel bad for what ever actress has to step into this role and will never be able to exist in the same space in people’s minds as Leia did in Star Wars 77. On the other hand i would prefer a new actor/actress instead of cgi.

Gonk Droid: A Star Wars Story

I’m kidding, Wedge: A Star Wars Story, of course.

I’m not really that much of a movie purist. I really should’ve thought my name out a bit more.

Can they give us something delving into all that Whills deeplore? That’d be nice.

A new young Leia has already been cast, the little girl from the bird box movie with Sandra Bullock. She will show up in the Obi-wan Kenobi series, as well as a young Luke Skywalker.

She could return later for her own series, if they decide to go down that road, or she could show up somewhere else in another Star Wars series set 8 years BBY. Maybe even in Andor, filmed around the same time as Kenobi.

The only articles I see say “reportedly”. There’s been no official statement from Lucasfilm.

Btw it’s “cast” not “casted” for past tense. Idk if English is your native language so I’m just pointing it out. I don’t mean to be rude.

Sorry for my bad grammar. They are just trying to keep it a secret for the big reveal on the show. It’s a done deal, unless DC changes it.

I’d love to see a story that follows through with George’s Sequel plans of showing the Whills and microbiotic world. I’m so fascinated by the Force and the lore surrounding it. I know I’m in the minority though and in turn know it most likely will never happen.

“Heroes come in all sizes, and you don’t have to be a giant hero. You can be a very small hero. It’s just as important to understand that accepting self-responsibility for the things you do, having good manners, caring about other people - these are heroic acts. Everybody has the choice of being a hero or not being a hero every day of their lives.” - George Lucas
