Updating the Thread Indexes

I've been wanting to update the index threads for a while now. I wanted to dive into the bowels of this board and dig up all the relevant threads that deserve to be included in both the Index of Linked Noteworthy Threads and The big DVD thread index. But since I'm busy working on other things like new X0 articles and you guys are here anyway, I thought you could help me out.

If you can think of any thread that deserves to go into either one of these indexes, please post it here. Any thread on any existing edit, or any non-abandoned work in progress is a candidate. Also any threads dealing with any facet of the edit process, such as "anamorphic vs. letterbox discussion," "Definitive Collection DVD Covers," or the "OT glitches and fixes thread" are worthy candidates.

I know several of you have PM'd me and requested your threads be included. If you could post those requests again here as well that would be a big help. Going through hundreds of PMs to find your request could take a while.

Whoever posts the most threads gets a cookie.

Sadly it seems the 'Changes made to the Original Trilogy over the years...' thread has disappeared (as well as the informative 'Another 2004 Trilogy DVD screw-up?' thread - perhaps links to Mentasm's excellent OT Changes Threads on dvdanswers.com would be a pointer for anyone wishing to find more info:-

Episode II: Shroud of the Dark Side

The "most ambitious fan edit" ever.

"Taking hamburger and reconstructing it into a cow."

The highlight is: Anakin Skywalker is dubbed, just as Darth Vader was in the OT. The new Anakin has a lower and darker voice and gives a superior performance to Hayden. This is actually a creative collaboration with many, including Mark Haslett, Commander Courage, Rebel11_38 (who did the opening crawl), Twister111, MagnoliaFan, and MANY, many others. It will be out on DVD in 2006, with a trailer prior to that.

Suggestions for updating the "big DVD thread index":

move Cowclops v2 to "complete" OT preservations

move The Lancer DVD project to Fan edits (primarily DVD based)

add the Dark/Sega set to "complete" OT preservations (click here)

add Citizen's set to "ongoing" OT preservations (click here)

wow the only set that i did that is included is the dark/sega special collection,i did more than just that set,but thats ok,maybe thats the only "worthy"one

Yes, a sub-forum in Preservation for non-Star Wars related films would certainly be ideal. If not, perhaps a whole separate forum altogether. I agree that it's sort of crazy with everything in here now.

I feel Tellan's link should be moved from "laserdisc sourced" to "primarily DVD sourced".
And the Holiday Special is not laserdisc or DVD; perhaps it should be moved to "other Star Wars DVDs of interest"?

Shouldn't the Dark/Sega Special Collection link should be moved from "ongoing projects" to "completed"?
Perhaps RowMan's link should be moved to "other Star Wars DVDs of interest" alongside babyhum & Ocpmovie's extras stuff?
The Skywalker Legacy seems like a fan edit.
